Just bought 2024 X1 sdrive 18d...a couple of things that are not "attention to details" as said...there is not a light in the glove car compartment in front of the passenger, there are no nets on the back of the seats...moving a couple of centimeters from start/stop situation if you are parking into a garage with a wall in front of you could be very very annoying...

The enthusiasm here is mostly warranted. However, even with 18” wheels, on washboard you feel like you’re experiencing a minor earthquake. And the lag/lurch from a stop and when maneuvering in tight quarters is disconcerting. The AWD is terrible for maneuvering in snow. Other than that the car is nimble, quick, quiet, roomy and comfortable. Thumbs up for me!!

I love the look of my X1 but the lag from stop and go is really bothering me. Also I find the ride stiff and bumpy. Braking is super jerky. Almost wanted to get rid of it and go buy a Mazda CX-5 but will be losing a lot of money.

What launch control ? The lag is less obvious in Sport mode.
