Absolutely 100% facts. I have an XL and I find everything that you’ve said in this video to be correct. They are amazing dogs, very patient, friendly and lovable. People think they’re aggressive because of how they look but they couldn’t be more wrong.

@@Ber0_ I definitely recommend an American Bully ESPECIALLY if you have kids. They are very loving, kind and patient dogs. They’re friendly... my male isnt aggressive at all and he still has his balls. You get the best of all worlds because they’re absolutely gorgeous dogs, jacked, and strong but their temperament is above board and they’re friendly, sweet and patient... honestly the perfect dog if such a thing exists. 😊

I bought my first American bully almost 2 years ago I was very cautious getting the breed I’m a very experienced dog owner. But I will say out of all the breeds of dogs I have had in my life time Buckeye my male American bully, is so incredibly smart and loyal and loving. I stress all 3 things. They are a normal house dog on steroids they are just better. We live the breed so much we just bought a few months ago an American bully xl. His temperament is even more docile and sweet then buckeye his name is Brutus lol we are Ohio State fans ❤️. This breed is amazing I’m obsessed with my boys and my young girls adore them. We live on 3 acres but have 100 around us and my dog love going out playing and running out side then when they get tired and want to lay around they come in.

Almost 3 weeks since I got my first XL Bully here in the UK 🇬🇧 . The media have villianised this breed to the max and are even trying to ban it 😳 I already have a Staffordshire cross Pit but was initially apprehensive about getting this type of breed. My daughter picked this puppy out for her birthday when looking through ads from verified breeders 😊 My XL was from a breeder who lived on a farm with many different animals and pets. As we have 10 cats (both indoor and outdoor) as well as 2 other dogs and 3 children, it was crucial for this early socialisation to be a key factor in my decision to bring an XL Bully pup home 😊 Needless to say, I'd received a lot of negative feedback from friends, family and neighbours about this breed being a so called "devil dog", bear in mind they said that about my Staffordshire cross Pit who has never once harmed a hair on any of my 3 kids heads in the past 12 years ❤ Within 2 mins of bringing this puppy home, the little boy (Named Thor) just slid right into our pack 😀 Zero issues with any of the other pets, brilliant with the kids, automatically protective and guarding the house. Very easy to train, incredibly loyal. Great with other people although a little wary at first. Was accepted within minutes by my alpha male who would normally have an issue with other dogs in his space. Thor has thrived on learning from my pack and seemingly doesn't need much training as he takes the initiative automatically 😊 Took 2 days to crate train him with zero fuss, he breezed through click training and my kids (youngest 2 years) has no problem getting him to heed to basic commands 😊 Thor is a very loving, playful, incredibly affectionate and intelligent pup ☺️ He's actually better behaved than my 1 year old Chorkie 😂 He naturally walks to heel as I train all my dogs off leash before on leash as their natural instincts are to follow 😊 I agree with the skin conditions too as he's got scabby spots down his back. Only thing is that I can no longer mop my floors as he will chase the mop or anything that moves in a circular motion 🤦♀️ he's also incredibly greedy and will eat just about anything so has set feeding times just like the rest 😊He's also my 3rd shadow after my alpha male named Khaos 🙄 he has to be right by your side or he's not happy. He has tried to challenge me a few times during corrections but I always follow through with my corrections, running and hiding is not an option 👍 His toilet training needs a bit more work as well as puppy nipping when playing with my kids 😅 he knows not to nip me so choses to lick instead but nips the kids on the odd occasion 😅 He knows paws on the floor is great but think he gets excited with the high level energy when my kids play with him... not sure how to proceed going forward with that so have been looking at KZbin vids trying to see how I can stop him nipping the kids during play 😊 Thank you for your very informative vids! You have a new subscriber from the UK 🇬🇧 😀 I want to be a responsible owner and prove people wrong about this breed just like I've done with my Staffordshire cross Pit 😊 Any other advice from people who actually own this type of breed would be so helpful 😊

Excellent video! Too many other videos seem... fake, weak. One question- i do a lot of walking through the woods- do you think that exposure to a lot of heat with little to no running would be likely to cause the dogs to over heat?

Probably not. If you are in the woods there should be shade and you take water for the dog. Also build dog up. A little at a time and then gradually increase.

Howdy!! Thank you for your video. Hopefully you can respond to me since this video was posted over a year ago. I already have an American Pitbull Terrier and a Gotti American Bully Stafford. A little while ago. We had a friend who had brought home to themselves and American XL Bully but was not able to take him home due to other personal problems. It really was not his fault. But we decided to watch the puppy for him. But the weeks turned into months and eventually we talked him into letting us keep the puppy because he had gotten used to us obviously after 6 months. He's a really good puppy. Who is now 1 year and 3 months old. but nobody told me the pros and cons of the difference between an XL Bully and a regular size bully. He is a really good dog but he's very vocal. I have never heard of dog sounding like a Alaskan Husky . He growl talks and howls while he does it and I love it! But his skin is driving me up the wall! He rashes out so quickly. I cant give him any high protein anything because hes gets mud butt bad. So we switched to a dog food with Salmon and peas with no grain. But he gets bumps on his toes and head and chest. We give him baths that are oatmeal basied with baking soda. Any ideas to help on the rash??

Could you make a video comparing FULL sizes of say XL vs Pocket vs standard and their temperament/exercise needs/differences??
