I’ve been in Denver 18 years and I’m thinking of moving to Salt Lake. I can’t imagine living in a non-mountainous state.

I've lived here nearly my entire life and I love it here, but to me... it's home. I've often thought of places that I would consider moving to if I had to, and Denver is on my short list. I think that SLC and Denver share some things in common with Denver being the big brother to our little brother, but in reality there are pros and cons to each. Denver has that bigger city advantage (more sports teams, events, cultural activities, etc) but Salt Lake is closer to the outdoors and the best skiing in the U.S. just 30-40 min from downtown.

I also said that the "Welcome to Utah" sign should change from "Life Elevated" to "where we take multiply and replenish the earth literally".😂

We do have large families here.

Don't forget to mention the overcrowding with them building high density housing everywhere. They are shoving houses and condos like trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Traffic is horrible.

There are limitations here that just don't exist in most American cities...namely, we're surrounded by 2 mountain ranges and a giant Lake that restricts growth which is in turn causing more and more high density housing everywhere for sure. Most people here don't want that either.

I just moved here from California three months ago and I love it here.

Welcome!!! I love it here too and my wife is from Southern California as well.

I don’t know this for certain, but I’d be willing to bet that all the Californians fleeing are bypassing Utah and coming to Denver. So it seems like.

Californians are going anywhere and everywhere including Denver and SLC! I go to Denver frequently and it's growing like crazy too

Im in Denver looking at Salt Lake but what about the crime???

What about the crime?

The Fair Housing Act directly impact the information real estate agents are legally permitted to provide to clients, and one of those is crime rates. That information is public, I just can't facilitate giving that information

Yeah sure, the people are friendly, until they get into their cars and start driving.😂

My wife is from California and she routinely would say that Utah drivers are the WORST...I played it off until I read the data and surveys and yep... it's true. We're terrible here!

@@scottdsteele but the Native Utahns blame it on the transplants.😂

@Jay C I'm a native of 44 years and I'll be the first to admit... it's an "US" problem. You can't blame everything on transplants.
