While I've actually never needed to use the breaks on 150cc personally (so I wouldn't have even thought to use them on 200cc), I do definitely agree that the controllers "tip" was extremely pointless lol. Especially since the "tip" didn't even have to do with Mario Kart in specific- like "I don't recommend 3rd party because they aren't real" bruh really? GROUNDBREAKING tip

I know this video is a couple of years old. But when it comes to writing an essay to an audience that already knows how the game works, you really don't have to go in depth with the intricacies of how controllers or karts work. 200cc is literally expert mode. People clearly have played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to understand the basic things. If you just keep things simple and go over the crucial details, you get your point across without insulting the intelligence of your audience.

After a break of almost 10 years, I came back to MK8 (which is deluxe now). I am a 62 yo casual player and It took me 3 weeks to defeat all the 96 150CC-ghosts. Now I am working on defeating all the staff's ghosts on 200CC... so far, I have managed about 30 of them using my lovely racer bike and yoshi bike and I am doing quite fine,. Well these 2 bikes are inward bikes! ;) Which leads me to this conclusion: Well, maybe the scream was not all that really necessary. Greetings from Norway William

You could fire hop in mario kart 8 for the wii U, but you can’t do it on the deluxe version. Same with snaking
