Be careful of Dollar Tree potholders, ALL potholders for that matter, no matter where you've purchased them. Test out their thickness and padding before using them to take hot cookware out of your oven. Don't risk burning yourself! They don't make them like they used to.

Ever since the first time I purchased a silicone ‘potholder’ I have never touched a normal cloth one. They are a simple design & I used to get them at brandless, but you can find them anywhere and they are so much better than any cloth potholder. Peace guys & happy new year to everyone!

I don’t buy DT pot holders or mits, been burned on them. Too thin. Always warn my son. Also some of their dishtowels are made of odd material, if catch fire will melt on your skin. Be careful what dishtowels you buy there too.

There is one item you showcased at 4:51. The wire tape dispenser. It is all but useless except for appearance because you need both hands to use it, the same way you need two hands to use a standard plastic tape dispenser roll of tape. The best tape dispensers should be heavy enough to stay put as you tear off a piece of tape, so you only use one hand while you can use your other hand to secure whatever item you are taping.

I love it. I don’t mind using both hands anc the tape tears wonderfully. Plus, it’s aesthetically pleasing in my work office. A little bit more ‘work’ is find by me in exchange for a pretty desk and a clean easy tape tear.

The Dollar Tree has the BEST storage and organization gear, including glass jars. Yes, DT’s glassware is really nice. I got four crystal cut drinking glasses there for less than what a four-pack of a brand name costs. I’ll look for the “generic” makeup that’s actually the brand name. Thanks for that tip.

I totally agree on all items. I went yesterday after watching this video. In addition to some items Matt recommended, I picked up a good size plastic bin with a locking lid for 3 dollars to temporarily corral my overflow of beauty products. I also picked up a very nice glass jar to corral my loose change. I don't really use barware at home but I looked at some of the recently recommended glasses and they were a nice quality. If I did need any DT is where I would get them.

Couldn’t pay me to eat Pink Sauce 😅 Did anyone else follow the controversy from a few years back? The sauce was not approved by the Food and Drug Administration and ingredient list inconsistencies… wonder if they got all that fixed? 🤷🏻‍♀️

They did, actually. I wasn't about to buy it at $7 a bottle from Walmart, but when it hit Dollar Tree at $1.25? I was willing to give it a go. The flavour is surprisingly complex; it's spicy, but the coconut milk cuts down the actual heat while the dragon fruit pushes forward the base flavours of the spices. I was shocked how much I ACTUALLY really like it!

The pet food bowl reminds me of a horse I had that would scarf down his grain and then chase away other horses from their grain and eat that too (he was a bit of a bully). I put large gravel in his grain ration and he would meticulously eat around the gravel to get every last tidbit and gave the other horses a chance at their food. Horse's lips are very sensitive and maneuverable so there was no fear of him eating a rock by mistake. It was fun to watch him work around the rocks.

The magnetic hooks are great for a cruise. Most of the cabin walls/ceilings are metal. You can use the hooks to put bags or hats on, put important papers/tickets underneath for safekeeping.

That shave foam is the best thing for getting stains out of carpets and clothes. Used it for getting oil stains out of my carpet and couldn't believe it really worked.

I giggled when you said "if you have any plants you need to shuffle around, these have a 'handle'. Now I could be wrong, but I think the idea is that the 'handle' is a 'hook' so that you can hang a plant over a deck railing rather than 'shuffle them around.' @@cfit421 I meant like stuff we wouldn't allow in our make up in this country but you can sometimes find in stuff from China or somewhere. I know if you want 100% safe you have to pay for it and even some of the expensive stuff isn't even the best but I think I would be more likely to try it from a trusted brand even though I rarely wear make up anymore. I don't want to spend a lot because I might put on make up once or twice a year just to feel pretty and not as homely looking like I normally do.

Years ago on one of the 'magazine' type shows they showed how a lot of the makeup items were formerly sold from stores such as Walmart and were old stock that was repackaged. If you buy make sure to check they don't look like they could have been opened before and they also appear fresh.

We have two dogs that often have to go out to poop at night. It is too dark to clean it up, so cleanup must wait until morning. The problem is finding the spots the next morning. Parchment sheets turn a beautiful vintage brown and crinkly after using them in the Ninja all in one. As long as you don’t bake something greasy, these brown or even slightly burnt edged sheets are a fantastic crafting supply!! Ypu can stamp on them using Stazon inks and incorporate them in your junk journals!

I have a round pill organizer that I carry in my purse. I put Advil, Allegra, Tylenol, pepcid , Imodium. I put it in a Ziploc bag in case it comes open. Has come in handy to many times to count. Great for vacations.

Please be careful when using Dollar Tree hair dye! I’ve been coloring my hair for the past 6 years and never had any reactions to box dye until I used a Dollar Tree hair dye a few months ago. I felt tingling immediately, which became burning within a few minutes. I quickly washed it out and luckily didn’t have any visible damage other than some redness, but I don’t even want to think about what would’ve happened if I’d kept applying it all over and left it on longer. Yikes!!!

NO garden stuff yet in sunny Central California where we normally start planting out in early March. My closest DT got zero seeds last year. If you find seeds buy extra and store properly for next year. FYI many online seed sellers are already sold out for the season on more popular varieties. With increasing food prices there are a lot of newbie gardeners out there.

I got a couple of the little rope baskets with black at the top right after Christmas and I love them! One for my keys by the door. The second one by my bed for all the various cords that charge different devices, rolled and tied closed with bakers twine and a tag to say what the cord is for. It looks a lot better than the wad of cords I had in my drawer!

Xmas half off, i snapped up some plastic baskets , tissue paper and ornaments . I got aldi xmas treats and made baskets for people i didnt gift yet in the cheap ! I put the tissue paper in the shredder for nicer look. The baskets came out great , cost about kess then 5 bucks. If i paid full price it would have been about 15. I love when Aldi marks their stuff dirt cheap !

Bird Suet is what it’s called. Suet feeder is the metal cage in which you place the suet for birds to perch on and munch. I use them a lot and we have e a lot of woodpeckers and eastern blue birds (not to mention chickadees, Cardinals, Carolina wrens etc too). Great list! As a long term Aveeno user, I have to say that the Dollar Tree dupe and most other Non-Aveeno brands do NOT compare as most of them are simply watered down versions and much less effective. IMO 😌

Have you ever tried the aveeno baby products? They are amazing! I had no idea till I had my baby now I use them on myself. Specifically the aveeno baby daily moisture wash and shampoo and my all time fave the calming comfort lotion with lavender and vanilla scent.

The hydro boost dupe is nothing compared to the Neutrogena! It’s so watery. I got it in hopes it would work but it was a big fail. I would say pass on it and get the real thing. The Neutrogena hydro boost is the only thing that helps me with dry skin.

I love your videos. I wish I lived near you so I could shop at your Dollar Tree store as mine, and I have 2 close by, look like a tornado went through them all year long.. Most of the time I cannot find half of the items you show.. One of my Dollar Trees is next to Family Dollar and sometimes I can find it there since they are related. 9:38 those are typically 2-5 dollars each... looks more like the low end but birds this time of year are hungry and dont mind cheap food! That's seed/bug/fat blocks which are very very welcome in the winter for little birds that burn upto 20% their body fat/weight at night keeping warm.

I will be stocking up on food and emergency items, as many are predicting shortages and prices just keep climbing. I am now eating 99 cent soup I stocked rather than the $2 plus cans now on shelves . The packed Sam’s in my area had everybody stocking TP and paper towels.

The Pink Sauce went viral because the original person that was making it and shipping it to customers. Was not FDA approved at the time and a lot of people got sick from it. The ones in the store is a different recipe and does have a shelf life and is FDA approved.

A third Dollar Tree was just opened in our small city. I get drugstore items on a regular basis. The products are made in the U.S. and are just as good as the ones at Walgreens or Walmart. I even buy Dermasil brand hair and skin products that are waaay more expensive at other stores. Of course, drinks and snacks are a must have on any visit. I buy the small skeins of Premiere Yarn which are a real bargain. For awhile, only micro USB cables were available, but the standard size I need for my Motorola is back. Oh, and my pillow for $5 is still awesome four years later. You can definitely say I'm a Dollar Tree fan for life even if they don't change the name to Dollar And A Quarter Tree.
