@@DawnDavidson Yes, the dried Parmesan cheese lid sounds handy, but I can't use that stuff anymore, not since I've known how good REAL Parmesan cheese is. I did find a handy Dollar Tree item, recently. It's a Parmesan cheese shaker. I got it to use as a vase for the flowers my grandkids like to pick. I had a tiny Mason jar mug that's supposed to be a salt shaker. It was pretty good as a little vase, but the stems of the flowers my grandkids pick are sometimes too thick for the holes in the salt shaker's lid. Had to upgrade to the Parmesan cheese shaker. I loved having a lid with holes because they keep the flowers upright in their own spot instead of leaning like they would in a container with no lid. I think I got the idea seeing some KZbinr (no doubt) doing flower arranging with some type of round grid over the vase to keep the flowers upright.

Certain tools and things I like to have one on each floor at least. Sometimes I might want a pair of scissors in my office on the first floor as well as 1 in the kitchen for kitchen shears and another 1 in the kitchen that is for cutting other things besides food. I also like to have a first aid kit on every floor and keep multiple items where I use them. For instance, I put duplicate kitchen spices, utensils, and gadgets in the basement kitchen. The basement kitchen is used mostly for making snacks or lunches when kids are in the media, gaming, or playroom. I've also found for my adhd it's helpful for not getting sidetracked, too if I end up looking in something 'just in case' because it's not labelled cos I thought it being see through would prevent that.

I do envy the access to a really nice attic, and a really easy basement. In California in the older homes, we don’t have access to either one of those. If we do have an attic, it’s usually limited because of the space that’s up there. I might just be able to fit Christmas items. If it is something, I might use on occasion, it’s just so inconvenient to go up some tiny ladder that is pulled down that we installed. Whereas when we lived on the East Coast, we had steps to our attic and we could walk in the attic. Made it so much simpler. Drawer space is also extremely limited, so I do have to use the top of my counters for storage of appliances; there’s just no room. I think it would be very much of a challenge to have a large place at this point because I can see becoming used to a lot of space, and a lot of “stuff“ so I’m grateful, but at the same time I need to find better ways to organize in the smaller spaces that we have in many of our older neighborhoods here in California. And maybe other parts of the country that I’m unfamiliar with. Nevertheless, these are such wonderful, organizing tips! And I’ve used so many of them… Brilliant! Thank you!

Happy New Year to You & Your family. I have been watching you for a yr. I have learned quite a few tips. You make your videos interesting by moving right along and not over explaining. Your personality is very happy & uplifting also. I had 3 operations on my rt hand & arm & couldn't do alot. I ordered the same spice jars you use that I saw on a video from Amazon & I enjoyed organizing my spices. I like to open the door (where they are on a door rack) & I am able to get exactly what I want. I have them alphabetized. I used to have to read the labels or see through the containers to use them. Have a great year ahead & we will be looking for more suggestions. 🎉😊

Another simple way to store plastic bags is to stuff them one by one into a empty tissue box. Then the box is a bit smaller and fits nicely under kitchen or vanity sink.

Such great ideas! My Amazon list always grows after I watch your videos but I’ve never regretted one of my purchases that you’ve recommended! Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family! 🎉❤

Thank you so much for sharing...I tried the towel folding hack and it is such a game changer...I will definitely be trying the sheets method next... I've been putting them in the pillow case but do not like how it still looks messy!

Love your ideas! I'd like to add for those wire racks, I find things fall over, so I wire tie cardboard from cereal boxes to the top!

GREAT video. My son and his wife asked me to organize their kitchen. I am so excited to do their kitchen and to put your kitchen hacks to good use 🎉

Very helpful. Thank you! Still not a decanter, but the cereal box hack is so simple! One of those “Why didn’t I think of that?”, moments. FYI: I am not a “think outside the box” person…

Homegoods & amazon are my 2 favorite places for organizers & decanting contaners besides the better homes ones at walmart. I save so much money at home goods. I also get pet treats & pet coats there. Plus, there are lots of other home items for so cheap. Including candles!

I have a tiny house, two children and a very nessy husband. The state of my house makes me feel very low and I'm hoping I can get a better handle on it in the new year. This was a great video, thank you.

Kallie, you taught me how to fold a fitted sheet when I first started following you and roll the towels! I have since found an easier way on here to roll towels that's a little quicker, just searched it up and thought you may like it too. (:

I ordered restaurant bus trays from Amazon. Use as a drawer in any cabinet to store things to pull out. They are open but it works well.

These are awesome tips! For my sheets, I fold them just like you, but when I package them, I stick them all in one pillowcase and make a cute little package.

I keep my sheets together by storing them in 1 of the pillow cases.

Great video! I have started a list of small areas to declutter. As you suggested I broke larger areas into smaller areas to tackle in 10 or 15 minutes. I am going to get rid of extra towels and sheets I've been hanging on to. We don't use them! I will try the sheet hack but I doubt I'll get it. Lol! 😊

My favorite nag clips are clothes pins. If it breaks it doesn't matter and you get a ton for a buck or two. I use for frozen veg and chips and whatever I need to close. I keep some in my ziplock drawer. They don't take up a ton of space either for a bunch of them.
