10 Things You Should Know Before Buying The 2023 Mercedes Benz GLC!!
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC, in one phrase, is "all round perfection"! The brand is normally top of the tier in car manufacturing, and now they have unlocked a new level with the 2023 GLC!
Before you get yourself one, you need to know some important information about the car. Things like what?
Stick around to find out as we take you through the ten things you should know before buying the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC!
Key in the ignition and zoom off to the first thing you need to know!
The GLC Engine and Transmission
You know what they say, the engine of the car is the heart of the car, so where better to start than the engine!
The 2023 GLC-class vehicles will wear the GLC300 badge and are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine!
The powertrain is augmented by a 48-volt hybrid system, and that's why you can get an impressive 255 horsepower with this car.
And that's not all!
Like the C-class sedan cars, the GLC has a standard nine-speed automatic transmission and can deliver peaks of 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque!
You can even get 23 horsepower and 148 lb-ft extra through the electric starter generator.
You should also know that this awesome engine offers swift acceleration and allows the 2023 GLC to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds.
Notice we didn't just say the GLC but the 'GLC-class models'? Yeah, that's intentional because…
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes in different models!
You heard that right!
Rather than release a single model of the car and then make us wait for other models as the years passed, Mercedes-Benz is giving us not one, not two, but three different models of the 2023, GLC!
First is the base GLC model with an array of drive modes, a number of driver assist features, as well as some extra security and safety measures.
Next is the Exclusive model, which has all the features of the base model and adds extras like the Burmester 3D sound system, navigation, a 360-degree exterior camera system, and enhanced ambient lighting.
But if these two don't do the trick for you, then you should check out the Pinnacle model, which can do everything both the base and exclusive models can. Its uniqueness is the augmented video navigation, head-up display, and very projector-like digital lights!
None of these models are messing around, and it'll be a massive flex to own just anyone of them! But there's something extra you should know about the GLC-class models.
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC models have different prices
It's up to you to determine what model tickles your fancy, but you should know that you'll be needing some extra cash to purchase whatever model you pick.
But the price differences are far from outrageous, far from it!
The best model, the Pinnacle version of the 2023 GLC, is the most expensive and is worth $52,600. For a ride this sweet, that might just be the best $52k ever spent.
If you're looking for a bit less extra though, you should consider buying from the exclusive models, which is worth $50,500.
The base model costs less than the other two at a selling price of just $48,250. On some days, that price tag might just be a bargain.
But whatever model you want, and no matter your spending budget, one thing that takes your breath away in the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is the…
Comfy Interior and Cargo
The interior of the 2023 GLC-class cars just oozes luxury! Every detail is made with nicely chosen upscale materials and a modernized design.
From the interestingly-shaped air vents on the dashboard to the new steering wheel that features touch-sensitive control buttons to the heated front seats with memory settings and adjustable lumbar support, this is as comfy as it gets. Every model also comes with ambient lighting, a power-operated sunroof, 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats, and a power rear liftgate.
Guess what? There's more!
These vehicles are heavily optioned with a host of luxurious features, including a panoramic sunroof, illuminated door sill plates, ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, and leather upholstery.
All thanks to the improved aerodynamics and bodyshell and windshield insulation, you'll find the interior of the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC as the best possible!
But that's not all you need to know about the interior setup of this car though, so check this out!

I still like the 2022 GLC 43. Cannot beat the v6 engine. Also, not into all digital buttons. Although I sort of like the interior of the new GLC, I still prefer the interior of the 2022 GLC; it feels more like a car.

I agree - the capacitive buttons and seat controls that don’t give any feedback would bother me after a while, although I really like the design.

Any Idea why they went with a touch screen for everything, even essential buttons like heating and air? Hepatic touch steering wheel? Try using that while turning or on ruff surface. I think it is the most frustrating! Cadillac, Lexus, Mazda and Toyota have learned that you cant put everything on a touchscreen and forget about hepatic anything while your driving! And no reviewers are talking about that. Must have a new interior design team. Everything else is really nice.

Mercedes is overpriced crap. By the time you get to leave the dealership with the necessary add ons the price of the vehicle has doubled. You can better vehicles with more features for less; the options packages are confusing and costly.

Something is off here... I am buying my wife 2023 GLC 300 (which we ordered at the beginning of February), AMG line with everything you can imagine, however the price is not $50k or $52k, the price tag of that baby is $62.325. Buy the way this baby drives .... is a dream... Imagine 1000 cc sport bike on mid size SUV chassis.... it's exhilarating.

How long does it take to get your car when you factory order?
@zhenyakon
@zhenyakon 7 ай бұрын
@@TaylorKay619 We ordered it at the beginning of February, We got it at the second half of July and it wasn't even 100% of what we ordered. They reduced few options without even letting us know. Considering that 2023 GLC 300 did not go into production till April of this year and there was "rush" placement on it, the total time it took for us to get it 6 months from ordering day, or little over 3 from "Starting of production"
@TaylorKay619
@TaylorKay619 7 ай бұрын
Thank you @zhenyakon for your insight. Did they reduce the price since they knocked off some options? Also, were you able to negotiate the initial price at all prior to ordering? Or is the price Mercedes lists on their website final?
@zhenyakon
@zhenyakon 7 ай бұрын
@@TaylorKay619 They did. What ever Options they removed (did not install) they credited to over all price which at the end was reduced by few hundred dollars. As for initial price, there are no negotiations as well as during purchase. When you ordering you vehicle, no one knows what the price is going to be (due to limited availability of parts), so once you finalized your order, they set a genetic price at 7 million dollars, that's right, no joke, no BS, mine was set at 7 million dollars. Once your vehicle would be schedule for production, Mercedes will email pre-built option list with MSRP price for it. That is when your dealer will forward it to you in PDF document with all of the description, options and final price (depending on what you chose $50 to $75 thousand). But please note your vehicle might or might not come as initially described. Like in my case, front AC vents did not have ambient lighting which they should have as part of AMG package. There was no rear seat AC control unit, instead they put small storage shelf, it did not have running boards, which it should have, and MBUX was not topped out (not top of the line), few options in it were also disabled. Once your vehicle arrive at the dealership, there is no negotiations either, take it or leave it. Their argument is simple... if you don't want this car, than don't buy it. Some one else will walk in and get it. They only thing you can negotiate is your trade in. Take my advice, don't argue about the price on your new vehicle, instead try to bid as high as possible on your trade in. Higher price of trade in will offset your new car price! That's what I did, won few grand toward my new Benz.
