Yup,your eye looks better. I had to go to the er cause I thought I was having appendicitis. The pain was astounding(LRQ)...Anyway,the CT let everyone know what was going on.It was a kidney stone. I sincerely hope I never experience that level of pain again..

Did you mention diverticulitis? I have an ER horror story about that I should tell you sometime, ugh. Mine presented in the lower abdomen and they thought it was PID, um no.
@dacisky3 жыл бұрын
@@Phillybookfairy I did not write what it was. Oh silly me! It was a kidney stone. Yeah,do share your horror story. I complained to the hospital for leaving people in the lobby in that kind of pain and they liked my idea. They plan to have people on a gurney in the hallway if need be since just laying down will ease the pain.

I would love if you made a video about Gastroparesis! As someone who has it, I feel like many doctors or medical youtubers don’t talk about it much and would love some doctor input on it!

It would be so cool if you and Mama Doctor Jones did a collab about endometriosis. I have it on the outsides of both my colon and small intestine and had no idea that the GI symptoms and pain I had constantly might be related to my horrendous periods. Edit: most of my GI pain was in my RUQ and my surgeon found and ablated endo up there.

can you make a video about the food intolerances and symptoms that come with that? how things like gluten and lactose behave in someone who might be intolerant or sensitive to them and what it actually does in the stomach and intestines and how to recognize it before we consult a doctor.

My GI told me (after I was in ED for abd pain years post-op lap chole and lap appy) that I was having a visceral pain flare from IBS. He gave me colchicine (finally can go on the regular! ) and elavil. Literally thanking the gods for him today! GI docs are the best! (But don't tell my neurologist that... because he also got my migraines under control).

Dr I'm so happy I found you! Have had Crohns since I was 7, so 20 years in a couple months. Was told by my GI Dr Jairath in Canada that I'm the most complicated case he's seen :/ really does suck. Going through massive pain that I've never had before, right side above my hip, been told all my tests come up clear so no flare thank God. Feels like a horse has kicked me, so hard. Had an ostomy in the past so no appendix worries, I'm hoping it's scarring pain, but not too sure :(

Had horrible stomach issues, from constant nausea to severe bloating to everyday pain for 20 years. Stopped smoking weed and within 4 days, all issues were completely resolved. Gastro told me there's a syndrome that excessive marijuana use causes, I definitely had it.

I had pancreatitis when I was 25. They never found out the cause (no gallstones, no alcohol). It was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever been in. People kept saying it was gas 🙄 I was in so much pain, my body was hot. I actually lived behind a hospital at the time and was in so much pain I had to take an Uber to the front door because I couldn’t walk.

I used to get horrible pains in middle of my tummy for years i would roll the floor with it and it went on for hours! And had camera down at 30 and they said i had Gallstones. I think mine used to get stuck and give me horrendous belly pain.

@@AustinChiangMD Yes thanks i still have problems with my stomach but not that awful pain! Started when i was 15 and it took doctors 15 years to diagnose it. The pain was like contractions in child birth and it would get unbearable then after hours it would start to ease but i would be sore for days my stomach was so tender.

Hi Doctor Chiang, I was wondering if you can make a video talk about IBS? I been having it for like 15 years. It’s very irritating sometimes. I tried probiotics, diet. It doesn’t seem to help too much. And I get so hungry after all the diarrhea.

i get severely bloated in my belly area after i eat with pain and gas. anytime i have gone to the doctor they give me antacids and send me back home. the pain feels more near the upper right hand side of my belly button or below it and is not like the one i used to get when i had acidity issues. am i eating something wrong? am i intolerant to something like wheat (i eat it every day and i do notice less pain on days i don't eat it) i have tried to bring it up to my doctor but he dismissed it completely

Start making a daily food diary of what you eat and any symptoms. You might be able to pinpoint what foods are causing it. I would for sure get a second opinion too.

I just started taking IBgard for the same issue. I’ve been dealing with this for years. And keep a food diary is good, you’ll find out that you should eat or reduce some foods, including some healthy ones.

One of my friend he got random sharp pain just exact on bellybutton and the pain stays there until he doesn't goes to toilet to pass out. He has done tests, MRI but didn't showed anything. Doctors didn't help much. So can you give some idea like what it can be and help us in some way.
