Also, I love your caveat about standing for those who are disabled.

I love HOW you said STAND, and you don’t give a crap about if there is a chair there. 😂 It is SO true though! Sometimes I have been the ONLY person standing in the small fairs I’ve been in.

Your dog is adorable! Thanks for the video and great tips! Just one point though...your goal for sales should never be your booth/table fee. As crafters we undervalue ourselves so I know it's difficult to do, however, you always need to make some profit. You also need to earn for your time. Therefore if a show cost $80 then you need to sell maybe $100 to consider it a success. Also it can be ok to sit occasionally. It depends how long the craft show is. Sometimes standing can be an aggressive stance. But yes I think it's important to stand when a customer approaches. Thanks again for the video!

My first show was in a gym. I practiced my set up and layout the night before. Arrived at the show only to find that both booths on either side of my booth set up over their lines. I didn't say anything cuz I'm not that person but I was bummed that they did that. But your advice about Murpheys Law is the best one...be flexible lol

Barely seen your video! Very helpful!! I am doing my first art in the park in a couple of months. I'm very excited but also nervous lol it's just a hobby at this point, no business name or or anything. I am getting a tent and everything but I didn't know what to do as far as a banner..?
@hermessybun3 жыл бұрын
yay! Congrats that's amazing! I bought my banner from Staples, really affordable and was ready pretty fast. If you don't have a name yet, you can make a banner that announces what you sell or your pricing for your product. Example: Reverse Tie Dye Shirts Starting at $25 or 2 for $40

What would you say is a “high price item” I make glitter tumblers and want to sell some at my craft show I sell them for $25 and think that’s a very reasonable price for the material and time used. Do you think items like this well sell?
@hermessybun4 жыл бұрын
Abagail Joyce hi! I think $25 at craft shows is perfectly reasonable price! If you find people are passing it up you can try a few things... Prepare a discount sign with something like “1 for $25 or 2 for $40” or “craft show discount 10% off” Or prepare to adjust prices verbally.
@hermessybun4 жыл бұрын
Abagail Joyce hope that helps!! Let me know if you have any other questions!
