I open carry my rosary more and more out here in the west. My weapon instead of a gun. I had a hard time praying my rosary last night thinking of my Holy Heart Miracle tomorrow 1967 my heart healed between days of April 28- May 1st my vision of the Holy Mary when I was 4 1/2 came true. I pray at least 10 times a day. 3 rosaries before I get out of bed and 1 before or when I go to work . Then I pray the 4 rosaries with the mysteries. Then when I get to work i pray another rosary. Then when I go to bed I pray another one

I was officially introduced to the Rosary in Astoga, on el Camino. I had known about the Rosary - they are very popular in Québec where I grew up - but had never really diven into it. Since Summer 2019, I've learnt the sequences in Latin and have been doing very (but not perfectly) consistently a Rosary per day. And now I am looking for ways to "level up" my Rosary game and all. I have been telling myself that there must be some sort of school out there, some way to deepen the practice of the Rosary. I'm gonna check out what Novenas are (nine of something I imagine!) and see how to integrate it! Thank you!

When I am in a particular mystery and praying the Hail Mary, I see Jesus in the scene every time I say his name. Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus (think of what Jesus and Mary are doing in the mystery).

I like the idea of setting the bar a little higher, and if you find it challenging, praying the rosary once a day break it up and pray intermittently throughout the day. Personally, I am going to try and pray the rosary twice a day moving forward.

Thank you very much for these helpful thoughts about praying the rosary. It's kind of peculiar how many of them hit home with me and I'm quite certain that many of your viewers feel the same. The tips about saying multiple rosaries were helpful, along with the timing of saying rosaries. I try to say at least 4-rosaries per day but find that there are many days where I don't even say 1 rosary and then I have these guilt feelings that I have not lived up to my Catholic ideals. I know that's a little excessive, but it's how I'm wired. Saying rosaries in my car on my way to and from work is a workable plan for me and I try to do it regularly. The concentration thing is also an issue with me and I have wondered many times if my rosary is effective after being distracted from finishing the correct way, or losing track of the number of Hail Mary's I say when I don't actually have a rosary in my hands. Online Rosary? Sometimes it "pushes" me and not to get - or stay - distracted. It keeps me on track. There's a lot of online rosaries. Some singing in between each decade, some just serious, no nonsense rosary reciting, two people rosaries.....obviously they are all great. Most days I go to any one church near me, there's never anyone in the church and I absolutely love when I'm the only one in the church. I get out my phone (being focused and not distracted by other things going on with the phone) - put in my earphones and search out "Thursday's Rosary" ...... It starts right away. It is true, 17 minutes of solid prayers. The altar near, Mary's alter there, St. Joseph always nearby. I love saying the rosary in an empty church.....no lights on.....quiet, just me Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Can you believe being in our HUGE HISTORIC CATHEDRAL all alone? It's SO BEAUTIFUL!❤No one in this huge city is there with me. Sometimes I find it hard to believe why people don't pay a visit to the church during the day, especially this cathedral built in 1900. It's okay. I will bask in its beauty all alone and sink into my rosary. 😊❤😊

I would be careful with tip number 1. Constantly adding more prayers to your day is not always the best thing to do. It is much better to have one prayer schedule, that you can maintain in every circumstance and mood you are in. So if you are happy and full of spiritual joy by the grace of God, do not add prayers. And if you are sad and you experience a spiritual drought by the grace of God, do not remove prayers. There is a reason why monasteries keep the exact same praying schedule every day, without adding and without removing. Stability is much more important then constantly changing everything and constantly wanting to do more and more. By keeping one humble schedule, you give a reliable structure and meaning to the day, something you can always fall back on. And the best time to make up that schedule is exactly when you are at your lowest point. Make then a good schedule and do not change it too much anymore, even if you are joyful again and would love to do that. Resist it then, and talk with your pastor about it if you need so. Remember that you actually need a vocation to be able to pray more then a certain amount of prayers. So as long you are not a priest or a monk, there will be a limit of what God will allow you to do, a limit that is different for every person. And believe me, you do not want to cross that line.

At 60 years old, I remember as a young Catholic always feeling like these suggestions to always "do more" was like my child never being satisfied with what he had.....but always wanting more.....I dont mean what I am saying to be disrespectful.....but what is wrong with having a "comfortable" relationship with God.....? A "full Rosary" is 5 decades, a chaplet is just a layout of how to organize prayer. Chaplet actually comes from the French word for Rosary, but now people use it more to describe a set of prayers more generically whereas the Rosary is specific.

Mysteries are very important. Unfortunately even priests doesn't meditated on the mysteries, have been in two churches, and the priest leading the prayers, just mentioned the mistery and what is about, like " 1st Joyful Mistery , The Annunciation, it's it.

I think of it as a form of penance, but I look forward to it as well. I need to do penance as a sinner, as we all are . I have several Rosaries, I purchased from sheen rosaries . They're beautiful. Even gave them as gifts. Just like exercise , once you make it a habit , you don't want to miss it. I do feel the Holy Spirit speaks to me while saying the Rosary.
