Colors shown on the display make no difference whatsoever to battery drain with an oled screen. Lower brightness and dark mode does help because the LEDs actually turn off when they’re black, as opposed to an LCD screen. Also the 100% on first charge helps with the old Ni-Cd batteries but has no scientific basis with the modern lithium-ion batteries.

Turn off transparency effect and animation effect in iPad also save battery, because it use less hardware processing. I use it in my Apple Watch Ultra and iPad Pro m4.

I disagree with the first tip, no need to go full 100%, even if on the very first try. This was relevant for the old batteries.

Is it safe to play games or rendering with charger plugged directly to ipad/keyboard while the 80% charging limit is enabled. Is it going to consume charging cycle or something. I always using phone cooling on my ipad for intensive apps activity
