Very helpful for almost all skaters Ivo, one thing; your toes should touch the liner, but to touch the shell itself is another thing. Keep em coming!
@ThisissoulАй бұрын
your toe should touch the liner and the liner should touch the shell indeed.

I think the main issue with 3 wheels is that human foot naturally has a curve in the middle and you best keep balance when front and back of it are on solid surface while the foot arch can wrap around objects like say standing on a rock or a log you wrap foot around it, you feel it with your arch. With 4 wheels there is the gap between 2 middle wheels doing exactly what your foot does with the arch, with 3 wheels there is a big wheel there, its so counter intuitive, it feels like skates arent part of my body (which good shakes should feel like) but rather Im balancing on a log in circus, middle wheel also loves to pivot on uneven ground since foot naturally tries to use its arch to find stable balance, but surprise - there is an unstable round thing in there. Just feels wrong. Dont get me wrong - I bought 125mm triskates as first serious investment and I loved them, but only after getting 4x90 and skating those for a while I truly realized all the issues with triskates. 4x90 is best option, but I do wanna try 4x100 next

4x100 is amazing. so smooth and fast!

@@Thisissoul my 125mm ones feel like supercomfort and fast too, but its triskate and 245mm long, I can fall on my ass even standing still, back wheel is huge and right under my heel, its not a wheel at this point, but an ass falling pivot :D

33:38 Does the 1.5cm room rule applies also if you're going to replace the original liners with Intuition liners?

QUESTION: you mention that you are a 45 shoe, I am a US13, 305mondo. With aggressive skating what flat frames do you recommend. I have the Keizer Superfluid 5 (268mm), but with the soul the frame and wheels are the exact size of the boot and i sometimes get the feeling i'm going to fall backwards. I also tried the aluminium GC HD2 which are 283mm and extend past the boot. I find the GC more stable, harder to turn but they are also very heavy with a GAWDS team boot or TF boot. I saw IQON AG60 is 278... what would you recommend for a frame size for flat setup and a beginner skater learning to aggressive skate. Thanks so much, channel content is fantastic!! and I have found it very useful as I learn.
@ThisissoulАй бұрын
more info about aggressive frames can be found here kzbin.info/www/bejne/infPqGWJor6Imas&ab_channel=Thisissoul as a blank advice I would choose the Oysi frame for you.

any FR skate would be the general advice.

My sister is just getting into inline skating and was sbout to get zetrablades. I told her to consider the oxelo mf500 since they're 90 euros and have very good reviews. She ended up getting them and is very happy with them. Surprisingly they have metal mounting plates and extruded aluminum frames. Not the best wheels and bearings but those eventually need to be replaced.
@ThisissoulАй бұрын
the wheels are not great indeed. upgrading them with hydrogen would be a good step

"Don't do three wheels", meanwhile I have a 3x125 connected to my Powerslide Next 😳 , lol. I love it, but I've been rollerblading for 25+ years. I would definitely NOT recommend that setup for a new skater.

@chadalancarsonАй бұрын
Why would I want my toes to touch? Anytime you do a big gap or drop your toes will slam against the inside of your skate. Your liner, yes. Nice and snug. Your skate imho should have a little bit of wiggle room. That way you don’t get pressure points, you don’t slam your toes into the inside of the skate and it feels a lot more comfortable. The 5% boost in maneuverability and responsiveness that you get from squeezing your foot into the smallest size possible isn’t worth it to me.
