Don't know if you found your request, but sharing some knowledge. Always find the notch closer to the first and second molar region. And when you find the notch, rub a swab of cotton near the area and you will observe a small depression in the mucous membrane of the palate and then you need to insert the needle for a good 3 cm depth and aspirate to check. And slowly inject the anaesthetic and stop at 1 ml and if you see blanching(whitish discoloration near the mucous membrane) you need to stop and retract your needle . After administering the anaesthetic wait for it take effect for 2-3 minutes and check for sensation near the nerve affecting areas and proceed for your extraction after giving the necessary other blocks. Note: be careful not to cut an artery if you try to raise the flap since the palatal artery branches might pass near the region. Hope this is helpful somehow.
