Duct Tape ≠ Gaffer Tape Also to note, I would always recommend people keep these things in their kit, though... where possible with consumables, have production order them and ensure you leave the job with the amount you brought onto the job. i.e. if you bring 3 bags of cable ties onto the job, and you think you'll use 6 bags of cable ties on the job, order 6 bags, so you leave with the 3 bags you came with. Often orders don't arrive until weeks into a job. So do not leave yourself paying for what production needed in the first place.

Are reusable air bottles and compressors at all used on set, or are all the cans of dustoff disposable? As somebody who works in heavy industry, compressed air is ubiquitous for control of machines and systems, as well as general service air for operating pneumatic tools and cleaning. It seems to me it would make sense to have an on set compressor and use reusable bottles. For smaller productions I could even see a small portable unit (like used in construction to run nail guns) being convenient. The only issue I could see would be entrained oil (good for tools, bad for lenses), but that could easily be solved by the correct drier assembly.

LX teams Crocy clips are number 1 - boss has set me the mission of figuring out how we can use bongo ties though.. useful for cam dept but not so sure what our best use is.. any ideas?
