Getting a fixed version of pliers for Spaced Out is what brought me back to ONI not going to lie. Oh and Blueprint fixed as well!

Blueprints can be super helpful. But if you need specific materials it is often needed to build it by hand again.

True, that is annoying sometimes. My problem is remembering how I built it last time (getting old sucks) so if I don't have the same materials I build it in ghost form somewhere just so I can have a template to work off.

I think Map overlay (i don’t remember exactly the name) and bigger zoom Out and pip plant overlay need to be VERY honorable mansion. Good top ten

For the Zooming out, the vanilla game does have it. You can hit “alt+s”, and the UI disappears and let’s you go full out on the zoom with a clear view.

Luma - maybe in the future you can make a list of mods that can add challenge and difficulty to the game, for a REAL adventure. I personally like trying to survive with “Lights out” and “Diseases Restored” and “Decor reimagined”. I would love to see a highlight of those kinds of mods that make the game closer to reality and more challenging.

worth mentioning the Pliers 2021 mod, which adds an optional feature to make disconnecting pipes/wires a duplicant task, in case players feel that disconnecting pipes from the menu is OP. i personally find it reduces my tendency to abuse the pliers mod while still not having to deal with the mess of deconstructing full pipes.

thanks for video. this list includes most mods i use , better info mod crashes for me for some reason, so i can't use it. if i might add some to list , it's these mods that i use for a long time now: research queue customizable speed tps counter sweep by type default off switch auto eject these are simple but useful mods that help so much in any play through.

@@poppy3318 i saw some that interest me, like better zoom out, but dthe rest idk, I feel like I enjoy the struggle and the things you can't do in oni... Everytime I add a modd I' stressed the game will become unstable

@@nico-ob6wj The two mods I'd say change the game the most are Pliers and Chain Deconstruct. I like the vanilla feeling. Better zoomout is a must. As for stability. It's rare I have a crash. The worst part is waiting for the mods to update to be compatible with updates. But that was mainly during the Spaced Out development. Mods really do make the game that much better.

Hey Aidan. I had the blueprints mod as well as pliers and supress notifications in an earlier video as well. Right now I think it is better for newer players to rebuild setups more often than to copy them via blueprints. That way you learn more or make more mistakes that also help getting better. I almost never use the mod nowadays.

@@Luma_plays ;) I'd be more than delighted to share some contraptions, like the drainage system for the rec room surfboard, water/gas recycling systems as well as infinite storages and I've just finished building a multivolcano tamer with piped liquid metals using drains and it works like a charm. Need more metal? hook another volcano to the tamer, one tamer to rule them all.

Hey asdLArs. Sounds like a useful setup. The Oxygen not included Discord (not mine the original) has a section where you can post modded designs. You of course can also show them in the channels discord. I will still probably not show any modded designs on the channel itself since it is a niche in a niche and i probably don't have time for that.

I guess that choosing and ranking those 10 mods was a nightmare. Bigger zoom out, GasOverlay and Blueprints deserve at least an honorable mention. And then there's the one above all : Mod Manager !

They are loosely ranked but i like them all. I also wasn't confident enough in my selection to call it Top 10 Mods. Hence the ten top mods :D The mods that i were missing will make it to another vid in the future. Mods that do the same as the dev mode or the base game will probably be left out (bigger camera zoom out for example); it was outdated for me once and i never refreshed it since i now know how to control the camera better.

Hey Luma - i was curious, do you happen to use: 1. Hold Construction by Cirne, or 2. Synchronized Telepad (updated for Big Merge) by shelena_malk, or 3. Mismatch Wire Finder by Stephen ? I have also found those to be incredibly valuable add-ons

@@Luma_plays i think you might find the “Hold Construction” to be exceptionally helpful when throwing in a blue print. I use it all the time when making SPOMs to keep a wall open until just the right moment.

That is a door that makes a vacuum after goung through to prevent heat movement. IT still lets gas through sometimes. Saw that somewhere and copied it. Check out the first few lets play episodes (Bugs & Exploits) for that

Hi Felino. Thats a common base game problem correct? I mostly played the DLC and shielded against meteors by building Bunker tiles or bunker doors in the base game. You probably mean a slightly more elaborate setup than that?

Hey semibiotic. What is a utility line? The Power lines, pipes, and conveyor lines can all be re connected by using the power line, pipes or conveyor line tool and painting over them. either search it in the building tools or press on an old line cklick "b" to copy it and the use it.

@@Luma_plays Description gave me an impression, that pliers per se could be used to reconnect tubes and wires back. Maybe, it was false impression. Reconnecting by "painting over" is pretty incovenient, because that often generate excess plumbing/wiring errands these need to be additionally cancelled. Errands are generated if you chose different tube/wire type or material (also, you cannot reconnect tube/wire if you don't have enough of particular material).

Yes you will need to cancel the errants if you use another type of pipe or material. it is annoying. @@semibiotic And at the moment the game has pliers integrated so you doj't need the mod anymore.

Hey Mgis90 don't take this as me beeing angry but more annoyed and exhausted cause i already explained this often. here first an explanation of why this is annoying me: I explained 3 times so far that i only ever deleted 3 legit comments on this channel (and alot of bot spam "call here to get..." stuff types of spam). I haven't read yours so far. You know me from videos and obviously thought i will be the kind of person that has to be of service to every commenter otherwise they will leave and also you felt the need to semi warn me i will be loosing subs with that sentence. I get this kind of comment every few month. How quick did your comment disappear did you check if it was there after you wrote it? I am not able to block comments that quick. I check after I posted something and then every once in a while. I don't even have the time to block random stuff. Second an explanation how it comes to this: KZbin holds everything back if KZbin deems it harmful. Of course the algorithm is sometimes wrong. A wrongly placed "." can imply a site link. An "@" that does not follow luma will automatically be held since it could be self promotion and every link is blocked cause i set it that way. EVERY LINK. I only see them 1 or 2 days later. And then I can decide if it is a safe link or 1 to a fetisch site. This is a safety measure to prevent my viewers clicking on p'rn sites. If non of that has been the case maybe someone else spam recorded you. I don't know since I get as less information on that topic as the person with the missing comment. I don't get notified with yt deleted this. Hope this cleared this up. And obviously I saw this and your other comment. Just try posting it again. If there was a link try replacing it with the video title and so on.
