I have a 2001 Lexus LS430 with 251,000 miles in mint condition and still my daily driver.

Congratulations! Since your 430 is the top-of-the-line UL model, it has double-paned window glass that keep more outside noise out. You can also adjust the ride height, but if the air suspension is going bad, you may not be able to take advantage of that feature if you replace the air suspension with regular shock absorbers.

My friend who loved a few houses down parents had one of these when it first came out. Along with the H2 when it was new, the gen 2 lightning (that he used to tow his riding tractor to cut lawns), a Plymouth prowler, Turbo PT Cruiser, Porsche Boxster S, and some others I can’t think of. They were car people but anyway this generation of 430 was arguably nicer than the S class of the same time period. I remember seeing the fridge in the back for the first time & thinking this is the nicest/most expensive car I’ve ever seen. I’d love to have one as my 3rd car to fix up and maybe make it VIP, who knows.

I have a 06 Ultra LS430. One bad thing about these cars is once you start comparing other cars fit and finish to the LS in and out nothing really compares. Even the little bit of plastic they use is nice and durable.
