I love this. I watch several detail channels & a couple car flip channels & it’s always frustrating when they clean the car, but there’s body damage or rust. A car flipper won’t replace small trim pieces or plastics so it’s nice to see the extra steps. Great job.

Legends are fantastic vehicles. I am a Toyota and Lexus Fanboy but I used to own multiple Legends and they are amazing in their own right. Acura is my second in line behind lexus, but its just personal preference. They truly do not build them like they used to. I like to add sound deadening MLV or lead sheet under panels to block road noise, and it turns them into luxury vehicles that rival a rolls royce in how quiet they are.

I flew down to North Carolina a couple years ago and bought a mid mileage '02 Lexus LS 430 for my wife and drove it back here to Western, Ky. It's in good shape for it's age but I'd love to bring it close to this level someday. That's spectacular! 🤙

I very much appreciate Ahmed’s level of expertise. I absolutely LOVE the LS 430. Had an 02 which State Farm totaled after a minor driver’s side door/quarter panel. She only has 121k original miles. I am still very bummed about it 😢. Tried a 2010 GA 350 98k miles. The private party owner lied through his teeth but looked me in the eye as he took my cold hard earned cash from me. I didn’t discover it until later that the rear struts were shot, he had an engine oil leak due to a worn out valve cover gasket, he never did a major service nor did he drain/fill any fluids nor did he DIY the air filter and air cabin filter. It is an AWD and he didn’t do the transfer case nor the transmission service. So what did I do? Since I don’t believe in anything regarding my vehicles let alone any squeaks, creaks, leaks? I bought all Lexus OEM parts and had my mobile mechanic work on it and now she is up to snuff. Got rid of the corny mismatch tires 17 inch Lexus wheels and upgraded to a set of chrome nine wheels 74172 off of a 2013 GS wrapped in Michelin pilot sport AS4 tires on there. My GS is off the chain now a d absolutely turnkey. After one year with the GA, I’m going to sell her and go back to the elegance and enjoyment of the LS 430 but a UL this time. The LA is THE best car I ever owned. Real talk

Wow this gave me inspiration for my 2008 Charger R/T. I let it sit at my old job's lot when I bought my 2015 Charger R/T in 2020. Now that I'm retired, I had to move it from the lot to my driveway, where it's currently sitting, collecting dust. It starts and runs well but, I need to do something with it. After watching this video, I want to do what you did to the Lexus, minus the PPF. Thanks for the inspiration. BTW, sorry to hear about exit from CAP.

wow I love this project, but for a 45k restoration, you'd think you might get a full paint job out of it instead of trying to fill in the nicks and scrapes. I watched the whole video, where was the 45k spent? You removed dents, aligned a trundlid, detailed the car, had the hood painted and protected, and did a ceramic coat yourself. How does that add up to 45k?

It is more of an emotional appeal. For example M5 E39 is not worth a lot of money but people still pay top dollar for it. Even E38 7 series that one BMW mechanic was restoring got sold at nearly 40K. Sentimental value I guess is the right word and it is kind of cool.
