I love that you often match games with a number in their name to that respective number. It's exactly what I would do when given the opportunity. It amuses me and perhaps also satisfies some aspect of mild undiagnosed OCD 😂

My favorite one not mentioned here is "In or Out"... there is a grid of cards with things of them, and a category, and on your turn you have to pick a card and say whether it is in or out of the category. Very similar to your number 10, I guess, but, without having played your #10, In or Out seems more fun. Also, the sequels to Fauna ... Terra and America... are both slightly better than Fauna imo, just because of the larger variety of topics.

I actually like "in pursuit", by the makers of trivial pursuit. It has people on teams, and the object is to cross the finish line as the leader of the winning team. There are lots of opportunities to swap out leaders and team loyalties making it not about who's smartest, but who can backstab their way to the podium

My first thoughts on "timeline", were that is sounds a lot like a watered-down, less interesting version of "Anno domini", but after a quick glance on BGG it seems, that Anno domini was never realeased outside of the german-speaking world, where it has been a topseller /evergreen fpr more than two decades.

Check out Stay Cool if you haven’t. From the makers of Decrypto, when it’s your turn you have two people asking you questions simultaneously - one you have to spell out the answers with dice, the other verbally. In later rounds you also have to pay attention to the sand timer and tell the timekeeper to flip it before it runs out or you’re done. It’s the best kind of frenetic multitasking!

I played Wits and Wagers once and I broke the mechanics. When I knew the answer, I made an intentionally low answer, that would drive the value of the actual answer up to 3:1 or 4:1. Then I would bet the farm on the answer that wasn't mine but I knew was closest. By the time the game was over, my score was multiple times higher than the entire amount of chips in the box. Once again, this was not a game I've played dozens and dozens of times. I played it exactly once, and owned it and everyone I played with. 2 out of 10 if you're an actual trivia wizard like myself.
