It sounds so stupid to say "we dont need to lock our doors, because we live in the middle of nowhere!" WTH!? I would think living in the middle of nowhere would be a huge draw for a predator, because no one around to hear screams, and it takes law enforcement forever to get there! People lock your doors!

@@malachymoreland7417 Even more stupid is people in my town not closing their doors during the day. That is, until a pretty blond, who would walk around pretending to be a black gangsta, and her two followers got themselves into a huge "mess". They were breaking into the houses of senior citizens. (Tried my studio twice, which was impossible to break into.) Then they broke in, for the 3rd time, into the house of a retired CIA guy. He had set a trap, they got caught and he shot her and her cousin and let them bleed to death, inside his house. His excuse: he didn't want to ruin the police's Thanksgiving. Sounds crazy, but made national news. (Me to me: "stop laughing".) I sure don't miss the blond mobster. After that, less crime and more locked doors. A crazy CIA guy's house!

@@malachymoreland7417 I agree but I'm sure her family would not. They tried painting their psycho daughter as just this poor misunderstood, pretty girl, as well as blaming her cousin (although every one in town knows she was the leader). It took her longer to die and the equally psycho CIA guy, recorded it all, to prove they broke into his house. He had installed cameras and then he turned in the film. Premeditated killing of psycho teens. He was crazy enough to think that would somehow help him. If someone breaks into your house pretend that the person died immediately of shot gun bullet or bury the person and don't use such an insane defense. Their watch out guy got lucky. That story is so crazy that no one would believe it if it have not made national news.

Those kids learned an invaluable lesson from their camp leaders, even if it wasn’t necessary. They were introduced to a life or death situation and now know how they’d react if pushed to the edge. @@ProudDad1976in a life or death situation some ppl might think what will save u is being big and strong, or having a weapon, or having numbers, but the only thing that really helps u and will most likely ensure u survive is the ability to turn off your rational thought process and don’t try to figure out what someone’s intentions might be, don’t have sympathy or empathy. The type of person that will survive in a bad situation is the person that not only realizes that sometimes you’re dealing with ppl that can’t be reasoned with and your only option is violence and more important then being able to realize that the most valuable thing u can have in a situation like that is the ability to accept and actually go through with killing another human being. I feel like the main reason ppl don’t survive situations like that r because instead of just killing b4 getting killed they let their conscience get in the way or they try to use logic and reason and by the time they realize that won’t work its too late.

I have lived in "the Middle of Nowhere". We never locked the doors either, but we had a few noisy dogs wandering around outside and loaded shotguns nearby at easy reach. Another "plus" we had, was that I had a number of friends know a Sheriff Deputies, who could be at my place in about 10 mins. But it was peaceful there in that desert we lived in. My kids had no trouble or fear of sleeping outside in a tent during summer and fall. And sometimes the kids from local ranches nearby would join my kids sleeping outside. On those nights, we'd have a fire just out by the drive and the lawn, and they had 'smores. I miss that ranch. Good memories.

Unfortunately it's not known the fate of the victims pictured in those evil images found in that dark web server crate. I hope they're well & safe, but statistically that's more than likely not the outcome that was afforded to them. Evil, Evil people in this World, it's at times fascinating the extremes some people can exhibit for I have encountered people so kind & compassionate that I literally cry if I think about those instances when such kindness was shown my way, but at the same time I've encountered other's whom if thought about for the same length of time I can shake with aggression & rage. Here though that fascination just becomes almost numbness when you try & understand how anyone could possibly not only tragically abuse children, but then exploit that abuse for monetary gain. It's fucking disgusting. Sorry that got dark when you were leaving a decent positive comment. Take care.

The story of the man named John with the guitar reminded me a lot of a neighbor that my parents used to have, he would always be drunk as a skunk, and try to “invite himself” to their house, try to get them to talk about music or whatever, until finally one day he went to jail because he got a DUI, right in front of my parents’ house. After that he moved away and they never saw him again. I think his name was also John.

The story about the dad in Australia kind of reminds me of my dad, he was an MP in Vietnam and not someone to mess with. He is 70 plus years old now but in my 40s I still would not mess with him. Heart of gold for those who he let in his inner circle but eyes of a mountain lion ready to pounce, even now I never feel like I need a gun when he is around. They say the parent should never bury the child but honestly, I can't imagine life without him. I'm a father but I'm still a daddy's boy because my mother walked away from the family in 1980 when I was 3. I always joke he is a MotherFather, we have a good laugh but the truth is he is the best Dad and Mom you could ever ask for. Mend your cut and kiss it then track down your bully and fight there parent if he had to. I hope I become even half the dad he is.

The camp goin wrong story.... been there somehow. When i was in school and about 16 years old, my class were gonna have a midnight run. We were gonna run two and two. We were allowed one flash light per team. My team mate were a dude terrified of the dark, but i wasnt but that night i will never forget. We were gonna run and walk through bushes and forest area and a bog area in the f’n dark. I remember that my team was in the frost most of the night with other teams following us. I walked through a bush and i felt like i stepped in some giant branch and i wanted to kick it away so no one would get heard. I grabbed on to whatever i thought was a branch but it was cold and felt nothing like a branch and told my team mate to shine the flashlight on it and it was a dismembered human arm. I screamed so loud and so did everyone else when they saw what happened, and i fell backwards over a torso with no head on. Suddenly one yelled “its a fucking mannequin” Our teacher had put out a parted mannequin to scare the crap out of us and when we were done with the run i walked fast over to him and told him he was a sick individual and what he did wasnt funny! His answer was “i knew u were the one to find it! But please have some humor” I swear i could have punched him in the face if it wouldnt have had consequences. That was a sick twisted version of humor and not fun at all.
