Yeah when i recommend the show i recommend stopping after season 3. It doesnt help the show that seasons 1-3 are all one story while the others are typical drama seasons

True. I took a break after season 4 and just picked it up again a week ago. Halfway through season 5 and the one lingering question that’s stuck in the back of my head is; Why is this school still open? With all the murders every year, even a rich one, this place should have been done by year 3 😂

The biggest problem with streaming: A great show can go completely unseen by people that would love it, simply because they don't have that steaming service. Right now, I am subscribed to Netflix, Amazon, hulu, paramount, peacock, showtime, starz, and max. I want to watch Godzilla on Apple, but I'm not buying Apple. Streaming is terrible in it's current iteration. Streaming services removing and shuffling properties around also gets extremely frustrating.

I'll also add that most people, Including me haven't heard of half of these. Regardless of what streaming service it's on. The root cause, is there's just too much out there. But the WGA/SAG strikes are about to take care of some of that. About half the amount of shows are about to be produced than before.

I rarely watch season one of anything on Netflix, due to Netflix's quickness to cancel shows. Show is listed as '#1 on Netflix', then cancelled two weeks later.

Streaming is ruining tv. Its hard to tell how many people are actually watching a show. History shows many many shows that need way more time and episodes to find itself. With seasons being so short its hard to find that sweet spot.

Stopped watching Elitè after season 3 when most of the main cast left. It was really good at first but nothing that can be stretched to 7 seasons with them graduating and the fact that there can't be murder each schoolyear. The main reason i stopped was the changes within the cast and that half of them stayed and half of them left though. Even Nadia and Guzman got seperated after they FINALLY got together. Should have ended sooner and concluded nice and clear.

Except "The Flanaverse" wasn't cancelled per se, it was brought to an end by Mike moving on. With his reputation, he'll flourish wherever he lands with whatever he does, especially if he keeps the Flanagan Fam together wherever possible.

I believe the reason that series aren't doing well anymore is because the producers immediately cancel if the ratings aren't immediately high. But you can't blame people for not watching them anymore because they cancel them so fast people are frustrated to get attached to a series and it gets canceled. Who wants to get emotionally invested for nothing?For me it was prodigal son. Major cliffhanger. Have not gotten involved in another series since. Accept for Halo and they need to bring that backn Unless it was finished.

I’m so upset the Wonder Years is cancelled. ABC kept moving the show around and stopped showing for a long stretch of time. We barely got 4 weeks straight episodes at a time. They chose for it to fail.

I watched and enjoyed Rabbit Hole, Fatal Attraction, and The Problem with Jon Stewart. I'll definitely be missing those. I'm surprised that Star Trek: Prodigy isn't on the list, too. It's gotten great reviews but was canceled by Paramount+ before the second season was sold to Netflix.

I'm surprised Heels made it that far. Wrestling is already a limited audience then they're breaking that into people who like wrestling and drama series coupled with a very limited international audience. Sounds like a long shot to begin with

Winning Time was definitely unique. It genuinely looked like it was vintage film recordings and the show definitely had good actors. The story was a tad confusing at times to me. I listened to the podcast and got more out the story there than the actual show.

I enjoyed "The Wonder Years". I hate it got cancelled. The cancellation of "Heels" hit me personally. I don't like wrestling but I loved this show. It had a lot of twists and turns and so much character development and redemptions. I hope Mike O'Malley can find a streaming service who will continue it. Starz lets too many years lapse between seasons and doesn't support or market it's shows

When they moved Wonder Years to the summer with no No No promotion. Most knew they were just showing the episodes that were already done and it would be the end. Also, If the show is billed as a LIMITED SERIES let it be that. Don't see the show doing hot and say MAyBeeeeee... We should change things up and drag it out!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome. And for some reason, all American streaming services and networks fail to notice their own and their competitors continued mistakes. There are articles and essays and video essays discussing everything from bad marketing to over-saturation of the market, but they keep doing all of it. Then they cancel everything, because it is too expensive to produce as much as they do, like they don't know those things when they greenlight their new projects.

So far, there was only one show that I had a true interest in, all the rest could disappear and never be heard from ever again. Rabbit Hole was redemption from “24”. I blew “24” off after the first 3 episodes. Rabbit Hole, was more in the genre of Mission Impossible (the tv series, not the Tom Cruise reach), 6 Days of the Condor (the novel), The Citadel, and The Recruit.

Streaming servixes have become the new Cable. Which is honestly a bit ironic, all things considered. Subbed to Netflix, Amazon, Prime, Disney, HBO and one Dutch streaming service called Videoland. (I'm in the Netherlands) Most of the US streaming services are either not available here (yet) or simply don't get a lot of ad revenue (if any at all). Add to the list, Shadow and Bone (on Netflix) just got canned. And I'm sure there's quite a few more as well.

I pretty much liked all of Mike Flanagan's shows, but didn't know about Midnight Club. I actually got ridiculed for not knowing that House of Usher was one of his projects, wondering why many of the same actors are collaborating, and nor Midnight Mass. The idea that his stuff got cancelled already when all his stuff (that I've seen, not Midnight Club, based on popular street racing game series... lol) were pretty damn good is a let down.

I was surprised by how grown up iCarly was while still maintaining a lot of what made it appealing 12 years ago (and eliminating the cringiness of Dan Schneider being involved). And it was actually funny. I hope they can at least get like a tv movie to wrap up that cliffhanger because, damn.

It's hard watching new series because you invest so much time for them to end on cliffhangers and then the series are cancelled. I try to wait until a series has a few seasons before trying a series but even that doesn't work. I tried American Gods. I really liked the series. I got into. Unfortunately, it was cancelled after 3 seasons with a crappy ending and cancellations.
