They could've also made the guitar center guy like I've done and either play white washed (the easiest drum intro in any August Burns Red song) or nothing but insane blast beats and double bass. Then just get up and walk off like it was nothing.

Yeah the dude who is trying to get all introspective with a cymbal when it's A- on the rack next to a hundred other cymbals that all react when you hit it... and B- when it's utter chaos with "bombs-falling-all-around-loudness". But there they are... dug in deeper than an Alabama tick!

The guitar center is so accurate. Why is that every drummer who doesn't know how to play drums go to???
@BoxOfCurryos5 жыл бұрын
Because drums are super fucking expensive bro. People gotta go there and practice and see if it’s for them. I was and still am one of those people.
@liveraddieradder5 жыл бұрын
I think it's because it sounds "fancier/cooler" than just the snare on 2 & 4, most people don't play it correctly anyway since the snare hits between the ones on 2 & 4 aren't on the 8ths.
@mattdrewdrums4 жыл бұрын
It's funny. I'm a pretty decent drummer, and whenever I dick around at a Guitar Center, the employees always have this surprised look on their faces like, "oh my God...this guy actually doesn't sound like absolute garbage." Lol

Not going to lie. I'm the "can't play the drums" guy. Every time the drummer doesn't show up, it's back to my four on the floor or whatever it's called. Doesn't matter what the song is, it's all I know :)

10. When I first went to be soon-to-be highschool, it was for a performance and I had to play their own drumset. The used a marching snare head for the snare and so it had a really tight sound. I personally was a huge fan of drum and bass, so of course, I fuckin loved it. I then proceeded to play the Powerpuff Girls theme for the next 10 minutes until everyone else was tuned and ready to go.
