I loved the Metallica bit! When you said simple things that make you happy I instantly thought of whenever I put on my headphones to listen to TOOL. Definitely going to write about it, thank you! - a rising senior

Hi! Very helpful. I guess Uchicago also ask applicants to send a 2min video submission. Please do make a video on that

This video is extremely helpful thank you so much! For test scores, I've taken it but my score isn't the best, would you still suggest I submit it? Is there a specific percentile that it's okay to submit test scores after and not have them be seen as a weakness?

Hello! (This is like the third time that I've comment bc your videos are so HELPFUL OMG) I have an important question: what if I can't take the SAT? I mean, I am an international student, and I've been studying for months to take the test on oct and apply to college, but it seems almost impossible to travel right now (in where I live there is just a few test centers, faaar far away) and I really want to apply in November but without the sat it feels like I'm gonna get rejections everywhere even if it says test optional. (I don't have crazy extracurriculars, that's why I wanted to take the test) I don't really know what to do instead of panicking right now lol. I would love your advice!

Hey! I noticed you enevr got a reply and it’s been a year since you commented. I’m in a similar position right now. Could you please share how going test optional affected your admission? It would be superrrr helpful! Thank you!

I'm applying to UChicago ed2 this year. I have a 30 on my ACT which is less than their middle 50. I know I should submit my scores but I am worried that it will weaken my application.

Definitely would recommend submitting scores! They really are holistic about how they admit, and if this school doesn't work out, I promise you'll get into the right school! Admissions is super stressful but it always works out the way its supposed to and most people love/fit in really well where they end up going!
