Totally agree on Cool Summer (I have over 300 palettes and it's one of my faves) and Scooby-Doo. I thought it was so odd that multiple creators kept saying that they wished Glamlite would come out with a palette with all the characters after the first collection then, when they did, they didn't even promote it. I had to search for the videos!

I'm going to say that most of these palettes had a very high hype when they initially launched. But the brands just didn't anticipate that their palette was going to have that much demand and either never restocked/pre-order, or took way, way, way to long to restock and everyone who wanted the palettes either got tired of waiting, or totally forgot about the palettes because either a similar color story was purchased elsewhere or we got into another season where the color stories for new ones changed. I keep an extensive list if palettes i missed due to one reason or another at the time of launch and if the brand has another release and the palette I want is available I will then purchase. And i also think that more and more people are using Mecari and Poshmark to buy/sell these when it's a color story we want but already gave numerous times and just don't want to pay full price especially when you can get almost unused or even NIB for a price reduction. I have no problem using either to purchase but i refuse to spend more than what the brand sold it for. I put the brands price next to the palette if I wanted it but was unable to acquire it from the brand for whatever reason it was.

Hey thank you for sharing your thoughts! I think they all got hype when they first launched but the hype definitely faded faster then other launches. But I totally agree with you. If restocks take really long ppl lose interest. And the pricing on makeup has gotten out of hand. I think Macari and Poshmark is a great place to shop for makeup especially in this economy.

Midnight Serenade is one of my favourite palettes. It’s not really dark for me - just perfect everyday shades for my medium skin tone.

I have the Touch of Glam palette and I think the quality is great. I agree with you thoughts on Glamanatrix I wanted a few palettes and they just were gone. I still love and use Coloured Raine and sad that nobody talks about that brand anymore.

@bricbeauty they came out with the Cam Quad eyeshadow palette not too long ago. Sad they released the Juicy Boost palette that everyone seemed to hate and then nobody ever talked about them again. They need to update their packaging, but they have a really good formula.

I really like the Aura palette; I expected to prefer Envy but Aura is unexpectedly versatile and flattering! I wanted Midnight Serenade but it reminded me a lot of Muse, which I own. Thanks for the video, Bri!
