My current Vertigo comics are V for Vendetta (republished in 2020 as Black Label 10 months after the imprint was discontinued & it’s library moved to the Black Label imprint which also involved The Sandman Universe), The American Way: Those Above and Those Below (sequel the the 2006 WildStorm series), The Losers (published under the Vertigo X imprint to concede the 10th anniversary of the imprint), Congo Bill (volume 2) & Deadenders. Some of the WildStorm & non-Vertigo DC comics that say “Suggested For Mature Readers” like A Nightmare on Elm Street, Modern Warfare 2: Ghost & the Watchmen comic book collection (the Before Watchmen prequels & the main Watchmen series).

Great list mate! Not gonna lie, it still hurts that DC cancelled the Unwritten deluxe editions. I hope that they revisit in an omnibus at some point. Hell, I'd even settle for a compendium at this point! Great series.

In fact my plan long term is to collect the Majority of Snyder's stuff. He is one of my favourite writers. Heard they are favouring shorts recently over longer videos to compete with Tik Tok. Could be why. Regardless It is nothing you are doing, I had a few channels I follow and never get notifications for their vids. You know the saying every dog has his day. And yours will come around again. Just keep on trucking.🙂 ​

Hey mate, everyone is different when it comes to reading multiple series. If you're reading single issues monthly, it's probably best to read multiple or you'll be waiting a while. But when it comes to long runs, I notice I gravitate towards one over another and put the other on the sideline :) Just give it a go and see what works for you, there's no right or wrong way! I'd buy that in an omnibus edition in a heartbeat. The issue where you learn why Cougar doesn't speak still haunts me. It's one of the best "action movies" you can read.

Loveless was great, but another great series that I would suggest is Coffin Hill.

Looks like I'll be someone else you cant talk to about the majority of those comics you liked .. I was reading other Vertigo comics. izombie.. great comic, wouldve run longer but sadly published at a bad time. My favourite Vertigo comics was Hellblazer and I'd definately rank the following which I thoroughly loved reading as underated gems - Sandman Mystery Theatre, Madame Xanadu, izombie, Seekers into the Mystery, House of Secrets. Tasty one offs - Kill Your Boyfriend, The Face, and The Extremist.

I wish DC would use Black Label well. They seem to have forgotten about most Vertigo titles. For example, I want to read Shade: The Changing Man so bad...but only 3 unobtainable volumes exist, and these only collect the first arc. Lots of titles should be reprinted via Black Label

I couldn't get into AIR, but it was a decent book. It just wasn't my cup of tea. NORTHLANDERS is more my style. That series is the shit. I'm still hoping it gets an omnibus edition. LOSERS is one of the best "action movie" comics I've read. I had a blast reading that series. But man, that issue when you learn why Cougar doesn't speak still haunts me. UNKNOWN SOLDIER was really good but bleak. It was almost too real in some sense. That standalone issue about the AK-47 is one of the best single issues of comics. Haven't read IZOMBIE but have been planning to read UNWRITTEN for some time now. Mike Carey is a great writer. His run on HELLBLAZER was awesome. And this is a bit of a hot take but I enjoyed Carey's LUCIFER series more than SANDMAN. And I think it's an underrated series as well. And I liked the first half of EXTERMINATORS more than the second half. Probably due to having to wrap it up sooner than the writer wanted. Sadly, that can mess up a good story sometimes. Just my thoughts as an avid comic reader. Thanks for the video.
