It will do quite well if marketed at children during school holidays. Children's movies are time passers that parents use to keep the tykes quiet for a couple of hours. It is a "outing". No one seeing it cares about its quality. Little kids are just dazzled by color, not plot, and the parent is too busy praying the children don't act up to analyze the film. It just washes over everyone.. Also, market to children works because children need to be driven and need to be accompanied by an adult (you wouldn't just leave a small child in a cinema on their own). So you sell two tickets (one child, one parent) automatically doubling ticket sales. Kids want food, so up go popcorn and drink sales. More children, more sales. Parents just want an inoffensive family film, which this is, based off a classic fairy tale, and if it means the children shut up for two hours, that's all the parents care.. You aren't the key demographic. So it will do well, because the targeted audience watching it don't even care about what message it pushes. It's a smart strategy that keeps Disney in business.

The first Horizon film was actually a decent western, but it is slow on purpose, because it was always designed to go at a pace for 3 or 4 films. Pacing that is meant for a trilogy works great if it is for Lord Of The Rings; not so great considering how The Hobbit was stretched out. As for that F1 film, to be honest it sounds like the whole Bruckheimer & Pitt combo is there to sell a film about f1 to American audiences (with a Hollywood sized budget), but they rwally should just make a film that appeals to the global audience that F1 already has. Do justice to the sport in the film, and it will work. Try to make Days Of Thunder only with F1, and it is gonna suck.

@JasonICECarson And regardless it is still not Mission Impossible 8. So your statement is irrelevant to this either way.
@JasonICECarson3 күн бұрын
@@patrickbateman556 Actually my statement IS relevant. Just because they stopped actually numbering each installment, doesn't make the fact there will be 8 movies in the series (at least by summer of 2025) any less true. Even IMDB lists it as the 8th installment. Your logic doesn't make any sense arguing with me, just because Final Reckoning/Dead Reckoning 2 is the continuation of Dead Reckoning 1.
@patrickbateman5563 күн бұрын
@JasonICECarson I'm not the one arguing or started this, that would be you. It does make sense but there's a lot of people in this world who don't have common sense. The 7th movie did not have an ending because it was broken down as two films, one movie. And the 8th movie will be after this one, even though it looks like this might be the last. You keep using IMBD instead of using your own brain and sense if any.

Horizon was actually good tho. But I didn't know it was in theaters

The F1 movie sounds like the exact plot of the Slyvester Stallone movie Driven.

I actually am looking forward to Horizon Chapter 2; I enjoyed the first one. I thought it was a good film that was different than the usual slop that's defecated out. I hope the final two movies come out but it doesn't look too good unfortunately.

I think it MI8 will be a hit.

It’s not so much it won’t be a hit, but it has to make A LOT of money for it to be financially successful

Would definitely go and watch Horizon and MI, since I truly enjoy the earlier movie.

Ellie looks really good I’m not sure if it’s her hair or what but I feel like she is more attractive in this video in my opinion

Are she and Ash sisters? She's a cute ginger snap as well.

I disagree with Captain America. Real fans know the title passes and I, for one, am looking forward to it. Also, while I will miss Melissa and Jenna in Scream 7, i am totally open to it since Neve is coming back. The thing I am most surprised about with this list is that Snow White is not on here. That movie is doomed.

They are actually releasing Rust?????? Also......as some have already said in the comments, "There's only one Blade! There's only ever going to be one Blade!". Also, I'm an F1 fan and I will absolutely not be going to see that movie!!
@MasseyKY2 күн бұрын
Dunno why MI:8 keeps ending up on your lists. If it's marketed as the last MI film it might make the $ it needs to. Also the production costs aren't that crazy considering the strikes etc. Snow White should take it's place on this list

Well, the industry has it coming if all they do is serve left overs. It's hard to feel excited about left overs

Cosner movies are investments; they make money over the long haul. Just look at his other saga movies. Dances With Wolves, anyone?
