Fun! My favorites are the blue flowers and curtain tie backs with ribbon. I clear coat mine with several layers of Modge Podge over the egg carton pieces after they are painted to preserve the colors, make them more water proof, and they just plain look better IMO. A few years ago I was on a kick to recycle egg cartons and made several cute things. I made a turkey that sits on my shelf in the kitchen, holds a stone egg in the back. (I used cupcake baking cups for the feathers, so they had to be Modge Podged to stiffen them.) I also made 2 place holder turkeys that I covered with metallic gold flake that hold small tea candles in the back (battery light). Very pretty.
