The word is หรอก. There is ห leading ร so the tone of this word follows high-class consonants' rules: high class + long vowel + stop final consonant = low tone : )

This video with ใจ was particularly useful, as these words are so common. And this was a good teaching style. Ms. Mod, have you heard of Christopher Moore's book, Heart Talk? It has at least 100 expressions with ใจ. I'd like to hear your opinion on it.

@logglom

You can't translate this na into English. It is an end particle to make your sentence sound more lovely, you will only say this to someone you know already and have a good relationship, like a friend or your family members or gf/bf

Madam what means gadai
@ThaiwithMod
@ThaiwithMod 6 жыл бұрын
The word "ก็ได้ gâw-dâai" in this context is used to assume possibility. It is used together with อาจจะ /àat-jà/ + ..... + ก็ได้ /gâw-dâai/ meaning "probably". For example: ทอมอาจจะลืมโทรศัพท์ก็ได้ /Tom àat-jà luem toe-rá-sàp gâw-dâai/ Tom probably has forgotten his phone.
