@LearnOnlineVideo, How important do you feel it is to use a jump cut to edit out your "breaths" when talking to a camera like you are here in this video. I see a lot of tutorials recommend editing out breaths, and instead of a continuous shot with continuous audio, they use jump cuts to even edit out a very brief breath. To me, that seems to be overkill, but now that I've noticed it in videos, I wonder if it is a more standard practice than I initially thought, and something you recommend doing?

This was very helpful - my skillset is not video, but I use video to communicate with my audience - so learning some good techniques makes a difference. I'm looking forward to applying and trying some of the tips you've provided. They are all fantastic - the only one I think will be more challenging is the audio track modification (Tip 10). I'll definitely need to spend some time on that one!

A subsidiary tip to that last one: if your music track doesn't fit together smoothly where you try to join it, mask the join with something else., a high point in dialogue, a sound effect related to the content, or some wild sound mixed for atmosphere.

@@muhammadhabiburrehmandaim1163 Good luck brother! Final Cut Pro is 300 dollars and Davinci resolve is free and you could upgrade to the studio version for 295, but if you buy for example the speed editor for 395 you also get the paid version of resolve. But use the free version it’s still super capable and advance.

I always try to use professional editing and color correction in my KZbin videos, but it takes so much time (8 hours per 153 scenes on average). Any tips on how I can speed up this process?🙃
@JoshConnectMedia5 ай бұрын
8 hours … wow .. I thought my 3 hours of editing was the longest 🤔. Start with shooting what you want - that’s a shooting list , then name each clip as you want it per your shooting list . Next do rough cuts by getting off what you don’t need ( CapCut I and O ) . Insert your clips in order … color correct and then drop your color adjustment , . Add your pre planned music . Cut your best or cut to suit .
