I always gaved her dragnov and keep ammo to myself and give it to her in boss missions where you need to hit specific points like that unforgettable black tentacle monster at last HOLY CRaaap !!!

See, I never understood that, myself. I always built up the defense of the settlements and made sure they were well walled in so that enemies only had one real route to attack from, and loaded it up with enough turrets and such that the security rating of the settlement outweighed everything else. I think I got a request for help exactly once, before I had gotten enough materials to do so with your old home settlement.

There was one time the stars aligned in halo reach, my ai driver was actually FUNCTIONAL! They gave me decent vantage points and even avoided wraith fire it was actually intense. I came away from the skirmish with newfound respect for the computer allies- gave them another chance in the next vehicle section and plummeted us straight off a cliff at their first opportunity (like normal) .

I never really understood Fallout 4's settlement defense missions. You're the general of the Minutemen. You should be able to recruit people and send squads of them to settlements in order to defend them.

If you build the settlements properly and arm the occupants they usually don't get attacked or can defend themselves when they do. There are just a LOT of the settlements so you have to go in and build adequate defenses for all of them to avoid this.

I have found two ways to avoid the preston garvey contacts, one you can grab the power armour before speaking to him, get on the church and jump over its not easy, and there is some dialogue if you talk to sturges if you do it that way, but so long as you never do 10 pines bluff you never get any calls. so avoid that area

I didn't know of this until I started seeing comments on a few KH related videos. I always healed myself in Kingdom Hearts. I remember dying a few times in Final Fantasy XIII waiting for someone like Vanille to heal me. Similarly, in FFXV, there is an item that was meant to make the character Ignis automatically use a potion on you when low on health if you had them in stock, which I had plenty. The feature...was broken upon launch and honestly, I think it only ever worked for me once. Features that allow you to take the backseat with healing have been things I now avoid in games. I'm super paranoid it won't kick in the exact second I want it to and so I prefer to always handle both, offense and defense (and prefer to set up all characters this way, like in playing FF7R right now. It's dangerous to put so much responsibility on one character to handle something like that for all other characters, be it attacking or healing. Added buffs/debuffs are my only exception to this).

I picked up RE5 right now and I was warned how bad she was. I despise her already. Ashley was not that bad. Ashley doesn't waste your health items so you're stuck with a red herb at low health, then just watch as you're dying and yelling for help. Ashley can't shoot but she also can't burn through your ammo. She stays behind you and you can just keep her in a safe spot if things get really hairy. She doesn't seem to get hurt very often (unless she gets caught up in attacks that were meant for me), so I don't have to waste health items on her often. And most importantly, I don't have to depend on Ashley to do much for me. The game knows she's useless. But RE5 doesn't seem to understand that about Sheva.

She's hardly in the game, save for a couple segments here and there. 90% of the times you do have her in your party, she can be sent into a garbage bin and you'll almost never have to worry about her. It's easily the best Resident Evil ever made, I'd highly recommend reconsidering. It's survival horror at it's finest.

I don’t know if this one would have even made the list but I was thinking of the AI Jack from the Gears of war series. like he is very useful for opening doors and stuff but when you have to protect him from getting damaged during a fight it is annoying to have to restart from a checkpoint. although jack is useful in many way throughout the game sometimes he can get annoying. I didn’t know if this one even made the top ten but just thought of Jack the AI robot from Gears of war. love your videos keep up the great work!

As infamous as Ashley in RE4 was, I actually never had a problem with her. At least nothing major. Any serious part with a lot of action you can typically hide her in a bin or something, and she stays behind you and ducks when you aim in her direction. I only game overed a few times over her, but found the experience just fine. As for settlements in Fallout 4, that is SERIOUSLY annoying and tedious. I have all the settlements except one controlled and built up, so 37 total. (I am missing bunker hill, the only settlement I don't have because I haven't finished the main story yet). Most of them have 20+ settlers, and I always make sure they have at least 65+ defense. But regardless of how high the defense is, each settlement has a 2% chance of being attacked each day. Defense helps reduce the chance of a settlement being lost, which actually can happen and you have to go recapture it and rebuild. Because I have 37 settlements, every 24 hour in game day EACH ONE has a 2% chance of being attacked. Stacked. So there is almost an attack every day somewhere. And for some reason The Slog, Country Crossing, Tenpines Bluff and Coastal Cottage seem to get attacked way more than any other settlement. Only one settlement can be attacked at one time, but sometimes I have 3 or 4 settlements attacked back to back almost immediately after defending one. It basically stops you from playing the game, especially if a settlement in Nuka World or Far Harbor is attacked. I often ignore the attack if the settlement is far, but the settlement takes damaged and food and water production falls below the population, then the settlements happiness tanks FAST. Actually, the larger the settlement and more food and water production, the greater the chance of it being attacked. But I think it maxes out at 2% per day. but for EACH settlement. I like the settlement system and build up each one to the max, but constantly having to babysit and rebuild them is seriously tedious and annoying.

I have two from Far Cry games: 1) The hired guns in 4 and 5 who do nothing to help you. All they do is start yelling and shooting (hitting no one) which merely blows any chance you had for a stealth attack. 2) After you save Riley in 3 he flies the helicopter but won't leave the enemy's firing radius for the longest time. I get it that the scene is one last chance for you to blow the hell out of the last enemies but it is so annoying how he just doesn't fly away to safety.

Maria from Silent Hill 2 is the one that makes my list. She spawns too close to you in the hospital segment of the escort section every time you use doors, escentially. This causes her to be in the line of fire from both James and Nurses alike, can give players a hell of a jumpstart, and worse still can totally wreck your run if you were going for a specific ending because you ran into her too many times. The narrow stairways between floors should certainly come to mind here...

For me personally I've never had a problem with characters repeating lines in games, maybe since I've always loved jrpg's I've gotten used to hearing characters repeating the same lines and I tend to tune it out, to me it's about the same as a sound effect for opening a menu, just background noise. But I definitely would understand that people may get upset if they can't tune it out as well. (And yes I've played xenoblade chronicles definitive edition and the original version on the wii as well and Reyn's line in particular also never really bothered me.)

Played BF2 for 5 years, 2142 for 3 years, BF3 for a few months, Bad Company a week, Bad Company 2 a month, BF1 a few days, 4 and 5 only a few hours before falling asleep. If I want a story Ill play an RPG. If I'm playing a shooter I want nonstop action from players or AI nearly as smart as players. The only AI I have encountered that ever impressed me was the Hunters in the Division.

She stays close behind you, ducks automatically when your gun swings in her direction and can easily be hidden in most major combat sequences.
