WOW, those little YUM kits really pack a punch!🙌. I might have overlooked that kit were it not for your showcasing it and then using it. Now with the whole Covid 19 thing seems the prices of lures have skyrocketed. Even if that kit is costs more now -- it would be worth a serious look. Alright so my grandfather and I used to go catfishing ALL THE TIME when I was a little kid before life started😂 he had been told about some pretty outrageous baits for catfish. One of the most obscure baits he and I used was (drum roll please) PIECES OF IVORY SOAP. Yes he was told ivory soap was a decent bait. So my challenge to you is to catch a catfish on some soap. GOOD LUCK!!!

Wesley Nichols i’ve had one of those combos for 5-6 years now. for what it is, it’s a great set up. it’s caught tons of fish. mainly walleye & largemouth. it’s also a pretty decent beginner baitcaster.

@@SimonRiley115 Bought a Black Max the first of this year, for $49.88 at Wally World. Got a little "Ambitious" and put a Silver Max on the rod, and didn't make a lot of difference! (Now, to save up for a "good?" rod for the Silver Max!). Haha! Yes! I do have Lew's rigs, but my "GO-TO" is still that Black Max...! Best "Bang-for-the-Buck", if you ask me! (He who DIES with the Most Toys WINS!). Haha!

Used to use a blackmax and loved it until the rod tip broke. My buddy was using it and he don’t fish much so that’s the only reason it broke. Now I have a ultramax and I love it. Abu Garcia makes some great reels and rods

You just made my weekend. Before sports authority went out of business they used to sell kits like that. Ever since they went out of business I've never seen them anywhere else. I have to say I really that I really don't go to Walmart for fishing supplies. I have a Bass pro store not too far and whatever they don't have I just order it.the only thing was that kit that you bought that I would do is to sharpen the hooks. You had a lot of fish that never had a good hook set and if it wasn't for you retrieving them quickly you easily with a lost a few of them. That's still not a bad deal. 99% of the time I always sharpen new hooks anyway. Thanks for the useful information I look forward to watch more of your videos.

I picked that kit a while back and at first I shared a disappointment feeling with no craws in the kit, but as you found out in using the kit it helped me catch a lot of fish. Good stuff lojo keep it up.

Haha i bought the "equipo bajo" like two months ago. I had my doubts but i can vouch for it too the baits definitly catch fish! Also on the box having the craws on it but them not being inside.... i noticed when i picked up my box there were two different types of boxes by looking in the sides. I picked up the box with the craws and they are pretty cool. Theres no difference in the label on the boxes. Unfortunatly there was only one kit left on your walmart shelf so you wouldnt have had a chance to compare the two. I would recommend going back and picking up the other box its been quite worth it. My box had 2 different types of craws the same green lizards and some senkos. I believe I didnt get the finesse worms or the curly tailed worms.

i ve seen these to this day at my local Walmarts in OC California but have been hesitant to pick one up, the boxes are usually warped pretty bad from just sitting on the shelves. Ive yet to see a perfect box as clean and mint looking as yours!! Great video

I've noticed the same on that YUM box from walmart, no matter which one I go to everytime I look they never have the craws or creatures in their boxes... not sure if they meant to put those on the front picture but they never include those baits. I also think they should include some weights to be a full kit, maybe in exchange for the short senkos since you can cut the other full sized ones down if youd like to fish a smaller profile. Nonetheless still a great deal for 10 bucks. Great vid Lojo keep up the great work

The Walmarts in your part of the country must have different buyers who purchase for their store. You seem to be able to buy hooks, terminal tackle, lures etc. that I have yet to see in the Wallymarts that I shop at in northeastern Maryland. l have gotten some fairly good things but, to give an example, they don't carry offset worm hooks and I've yet to see the preordained kits like the ones in this video. If you want a challenge and you haven't done it yet, try catching a donkey, slaunch, lunker, or whatever you call a big one on a kiddie pole.

I've purchased a Yum kit very similar to that Lojo. It may not be the best, but it's a good deal. You can Texas/Carolina everything in that kit or use the craws as jig trailers...etc. For the money you can't really beat it.

That was a green pumpkin trick-worm. Usually when fishing a trick worm, you want to fish shallower water and use a weightless presentation with a 4/0 extra wide gap hook. You should dead stick it, which means let it sink for about 10 to 20 seconds depending on water depth and twitch it about every 2 to 3 seconds. That is what most anglers do with that worm. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That kit is perfect for anybody new to bass, add in the Christie Craw kit that comes with weights and hooks for texas rigging them all and you have a $20 combo of soft plastic(worms and creature/craw), weights, hooks and 2 tackle storage boxes. Sounds good to me!

Yum are great bait at a great price point. Love my Yum Dingers for pond fishing. They fall at a slower rate than a Senko so they are perfect for shallow waters.
