Goku punched beerus and shook the universe(is possibly a macroverse as otherworld and hell are stated to be their own individual universes inside our universe) , they both exerted the same amount of force. This is while he was in his super saiyan god form not blue, so god goku could destroy half the universe/macroverse in one punch in god form at the beginning of super. This is not inclusive of all his zenkai power boosts after fighting beerus like fighting hit, black and zamasu along side his continuous training throughout the arcs, then add super saiyan blue and kaioken times ten and im sure he will hit with the strength of earth

Banter FC Superman fought an alternate version of himself and they were warping reality and destroying the universe. But let's not bring in powers like that in this debate because a stronger version of Goku after that Beerus fight still got his ass kicked by Hit and Goku Black in his base form while he was super saiyan blue. The problem with DBZ and why most people believe Goku would lose to Superman is the same reason they believe he'd lose to Saitama. Saitama and Superman are ALWAYS the strongest in their universe when it comes to physical strength while Goku is not and when we think he is he always gets beaten down. Goku couldn't beat Cell, Broly, Buu, Beerus, Black, whis, the androids, etc etc.

It's really a catch 22. If you don't create a composite character, the argument becomes "but it wasn't X Superman". If you do, it becomes "but that's a composite, only X Superman can do that." The fairest assessment is that everything counts except gag characters, no outside help, and the characters don't know anything about each other. Superman just has more to pull from. Goku has mostly been consistent. He also has a problem of achievement measurements. Goku has been shown to have the ability to catch or block bullets, but be able to get killed by a bullet. There's a good chance the attacks are far more devastating than shown because they are partially countered and focused only on a specific area.

That's basically because there have been different writers, reboots, flat out changes, weird powers that come and don't return, powers that suddenly develop because, uh, needed it, then they stay. Remember how superman had the ability to shoot MINI SUPERMANS out of his hand once? Also the kiss of amnesia. Time reversal. There are just so many inconsistent things about American comics compared to Japanese manga. I'm into both, but I have rarely seen manga characters get a FULL reboot or have powers just come and go, etc. There's usually an explanation, but not so much for comics (usually).

Superman is inconsistent when talking about his feats, same goes for everyone in comics. Compared to Goku, who always increases in power, Superman is garbage. Let me be clear on one thing, although I am a DB fan I will admit that SOME of the OVER 9000 Supermans that exists can beat Goku. Not saying that Goku can beat all Supermans neither but let me be clear because of the inconsistency that the main 3 Supermans have, Goku would win against them. Let be clear one a few things fanboys over exaggerate of Superman that ain't true. 1. He did NOT lift the book of infinite. First off, for something to be infinite weight it has to have an infinite mass. Which the book does not. Second, the book was floating! Which means regular gravity doesn't apply to it. Three, Superman and Shazam both tried to "lift" the book and got push back, failing on "lifting" it. 2. He needed help from the Justice League to move planets. It was not his own feat and even struggled on doing this. 3. He did NOT carry Spectre who supposedly weights infinite neither. First, he had help. Second, even with help he struggled in doing so. Three, once again, for something to weight infinite it has to have an infinite mass which Spectre does not have. 4. Tanks the force of 5 supernovas to the face yet always struggles with planet lvl characters. Hell, he even stated himself a couple of times that he has the strength as a planet. For crying out loud, Superman gets his power from solar energy yet when a star actually goes supernova, Superman got hurt and sent flying across the solar system. Pre Crisis Superman sneezes a galaxy away because he had a cold yet every time he does his super breath it doesn't do anything nearly as epic or destructive as that ONE time. 5. He did not held for say a black hole. He held a small container that was spilling energy from the miniature black hole that was the size of a grain of sand. What Screw Attack failed to mention was he got on his knees crying, begging for someone to take it away from him. It's these inconsistency that makes me believe that the main 3 (New 52, Post Crisis and Pre Crisis) would get stump by Goku. 1. Goku was literally destroying the universe in the fight against Beerus. And don't play the excuse "oh that's because Beerus was there" cause that don't play out. If it was really all Beerus, wouldn't you think Goku wouldn't survived that? Not to mention it was cause by their fist colliding with each other. 2. Goku and Vegeta, while training with Whis, was doing this 50,000 one thumb pushups while wearing these special suits. Taken off, these suit literally barrow through the ground. For an object to do such a thing, it has to weight at 10 quintillions tons and this was in their base form. 3. If you wanna do what Screw Attack did and combine all 3 Supermans together in to one, Goku from the manga can Hakai Superman. Don't say neither that it "didn't work" cause it did. Because fused Zamasu was partly immortal, he regenerates. Not to mention distracted Goku with the girl to get a clean hit on Goku to stop him from completing the Hakai. Again, I don't believe Goku can beat all 9000 Superman's but same goes the other way around.

It's kinda a shame, this video is very well made but there's a lot of downplay going on in Goku's department, Goku has been shown to be able to punch someone so hard that the entire universe itself begins to crumble from it as shown in his fight against Beerus when he was a Super Saiyan God now take into consideration he made that form his base form and then stack the Blue multiplier on top of that and multiply it by 20, now multiply it by 10 since he got 10x stronger at the end of the Zamasu arc. I'm not even gonna get into Ultra Instinct because this video was made before that form but just know that it's incredibly powerful and was stated to be the "ultimate form" of Goku by Toriyama.

Also, Shazam was helping him lift the book, which wouldn't make sense if the book actually had infinite weight, because what's infinity divided by two? Infinity. Nope realistically goku cant go ultra instinct anymore since the tournament of power when he fought jiren the gray because it's puts too much of a strain on his body and he hasn't mastered ultra instinct yet
