In a cup, mix a little bit of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and water. Rinse/gargle for 1-2 min then spit it out. Pain should subside in 15-20 min. Do it again if pain is still there. I did it twice and my severe pain went away. Hope this helps

@@yazajagI agree, I haven't seen a dentist for about 5 years, my teeth are a right mess! Here in the UK it's really hard to even find a dentist. They all went private a few years ago and I've really noticed the difference -these days it's so common to see people in their 40,s and 50,s with loads of missing teeth ! It's awful. I lost a front tooth on the lower jaw a couple of years ago and now I've got 1 of my main ones at the front at the top coming loose and causing me pain . Toothache is the worst 😟

@@yazajag yeah my insurance doesn't provide dental which is lovely, everytime I go to the dentist I have to pay hundreds upon hundreds of dollars, I know not everyone has dental coverage so I'm sure tons of other people are in the same predicament, I tried to pull a tooth one time at work with my leatherman pliers, huge mistake cause it just snapped off below the gum line and made it way worse, finally saved enough to go to the dentist and they had to surgically remove it, what a disaster. I wouldn't attempt that again unless I literally had no option.

I’ve brushed my teeth twice every day, but that didn’t save me from periodontitis though. I’m not sure if mouthwash would have really prevented it. All I know is that the pain gets so bad that it’ll wake me up; salt water really does help, although it does take about 35 minutes to start feeling better.

I work for a pest control company and one of our pesticides is not a chemical but a combination of essential oils. One of those oils if I'm not mistaken is peppermint oil. Funny thing today when I was killing bugs I had absolutely no toothache pain but 5 minutes after starting and about 5 minutes after finishing there was pain before and after. Mind you the mixture rate was extremely high as far as mixing essential oils goes anyway. Let's put it this way as I applied the chemicals to the application area it actually gave people in a neighboring building a headache because one of the other oils was Wintergreen which can in some cases cause extreme headaches especially if mixed in very rich doses.

Just want either all the nerves killed so no more pain or have them all removed, even if I have to wait a while for a replacement! I know this is an old comment but the best toothache remedy I used is called Red Cross toothache it comes in a small brown glass bottle, also oil pulling with coconut oil and putting a piece of aloe Vera gel over the gums helps soothe pain if you have an abscess.

Clove oil is super effective for me. It's like as if I have no toothache. Just insert a tiny cotton ball soaked in clove oil in the tooth cavity. Just leave it there until your next meal. After eating brush teeth, mouthwash then do the clove oil again.

Was in the worse pain ever for 5 hrs to the point where I took pain reliever pills which still weren't enough. I decided to warm up a cup of water and Himalayan salt (that was all I had lol but regular salt is fine as well). I cold compressed my cheek for about a half hr to numb it then I garbled & swished small sips of the salt water around where my toothache was for about an hr. Then took 2 Bayers pain relief pills. About 20 mins after I felt something go away along with the pain and I was fine. Cold compressed it again right after for another half hr and was able to sleep like a baby. Worked for me perfectly so I hope this helps anyone out there 👍🙏

The compress thing works; I'm using it right now, and this is the only relief that I've gotten all day. Place the compress against the cheek, target the offending nerve, and press on it- the pain doesn't completely go away, but the throbbing does subside, making the pain more manageable, while allowing you to at least function (instead of laying in bed, crying). For long-lasting effects, tie the compress tightly around your head- that's what I'm doing right now. Off to make dinner. Hope this helps!
