10 things I want to see for 2K22 1 Go back to 2k19 controls 2 A better universe mode. Give us Universe Mode with 2K19 customisation and WWE 12 cutscenes variety than you have the perfect UM. 3 Give us updated attire it’s. 2K they will not give us roster updates monthly because that’s there incentive to get people buy the next game. But an update on current wrestlers attires and new look would be great 4 I want a lot of match types back but even if you just give me special ref I will be happy 5 Give us a career with a fun branching story with multiple branching options that can change how your story ends based on decisions give us replay ability. 6 Story designer would be a great return its long overdue 7 Make towers more of a unique challenge mode. Show different parts of the body that's getting hurt the most after a match n have more realistic security people plus different announcers not repeating the same old lines over n over again plus released a Wrestling game once a year not every year so the Dev's can work n test out the game for bugs/glitches to improved the aspect of 2k wrestling franchise game moving forward into the future.

Yes the commentary thing would be great like I know they already do like 10,000 lines but I mean it just don’t make sense like I play WWE 2K19 and when I do a stomp on the ground they say “Uppercut!” And when I do a clothesline it says “DROPKICK!” and in universe mode I think that they should have different commentators for each show 2 for SmackDown 3 for RAW 2 for NXT and during exhibition mode you can choose what commentators you want for you match like there should be an option like: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton (Sorry if I spelled it wrong), Tom Phillips, Somoa Joe, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mr. McMahon, Beth Phoenix, Wade Berret (Sorry if I spelled it wrong), and Nigel McGuinness.

What would be the difference between a "UFC" match and a Raw Underground match? A cage? WWE might as well use the Fight Pit match for that. Also Story Creator should be included in Universe Mode, its ridiculous that I can't choose a large selection of cut scenes and place them wherever I want on any show I want to produce stories in my universe. Instead of randomly seeing cut scenes that are usually out of place to my storyline vision.

1. In-depth Logic editing. Let us delve deep into logic settings. So we can alter the way wrestlers perform or act in each said situation. 2. HIT & COLLISION detection has to be better. 3. Selling Limb damage and make it affect performance. 4. More interactive arenas. We should be able to do a lot more both IN and AROUND the ring. 5. Deep weapon mechanics. Realistic table spots (table break, selling etc). Unfoldable chairs 💺 and lastly a variety of moves to choose from. The WWE games have zero creativity when it comes to this. 6. DEATH TO LOOT CRATES 7. Story creator 8. User-friendly controls 9. Match authenticity such as intense staredowns, back and forth strike battles, test of strength, or even handshakes. Submission struggles, last second rope grabs and 2.9 kick-outs. 10. Massive creation suite being able to create and edit everything from movesets > merchandise > weapon skins > custom taunts > call names etc.

Well done! I consider you THE voice of the WWE gaming community! Keep up the good work! Very good point on the My Career, definitely more choice is needed. But what are your thoughts on 'choice' with a healthy blend of occurrences which are out of our hands coupled with our choice of HOW to respond. I think there needs to be more of this because 100% free choice with minimal consequence afterwards could also be a downfall as well. Our character could be faced with possible paths to go down due to an attack, title shot, invitation to join a faction, or anything that gets thrown at us and HOW we respond determines the career path. Because there's definitely something to be said about something unexpected happening that we DON'T choose that we have to respond to. I guess the perfect blend needs to be established and of course that's all subjective. But overall I agree, we need more choice in MY career for sure.

Currently designing a Sci-Fantasy game with the central combat system built around wrestling. Haven't played a WWE game since 2K9, I think? But I remember absolutely loving it as a youngster. The concept is of similar shenaniganry to the Kinnikuman manga & anime (or as it's sequel is known in the west, Ultimate Muscle). Example shenanigans: Rescue kidnapped kid, match is a Money in the Bank match, with the kid dangling on a chain. Went looking for in depth videos on the specifics of the wrestling systems, what made them good, etc. Came across this video, and got some interesting ideas. Just wanted to say thanks for that. Not sure I'll ever finish this monstrosity, but I'm having a blast designing it and trying to build some of the systems in UE4. Got some more things to try and play around with thanks to you. I would honestly love to see a season mode type mode return. Either way its super important that a wrestling game has some sort of long term game mode that people pour hours into. For me the Ultimate game would have to have a proper Royal Rumble match mode. We are far gone past the limitations of previous generations, there really are no excuses any more. A proper Royal Rumble match is more than possible to implement as we are long past the days where only a certain number of people can be on screen at once so I would to see a proper Royal Rumble match in a future wrestling game. Like I understand it would take a while to program it/get it ready but its certainly possible to do on next gen consoles. Speaking of which it brings me to something that should be in all wrestling games going forward and that's using the power of the ssd/load times. When simulating a match for example it should live simulate in the background so I could just go right into the finish and it would actually be doable now. I think something like that would be really cool and it would really add to the game.

@VikingSizedGamer To co-operate with your Wrestler Momentum Idea I suggest a Title Prestiege system. If two wrestlers with High momentum are feuding over a title it raises the Prestige of that title improving match rating for GM Mode. As an extreme example if Randy Orton and Roman Reigns started feuding over the 24 / 7 Title it would raise the prestiege of that title and fan reaction / star rating to matches involving it. In a reverse sense if two low momentum wrestlers are feuding over a Title it could lower the fan reaction.

Not gameplay wise or lacking the things you mentioned but something detached from any real life wrestling promotion (maybe). Something like the Slam Masters or Ultimate Muscle games with gameplay like Def Jam FFNY and WWE All Stars.

I agree with all of this I've also thought they should take elements from UFC games where you feel like you are actually in a fight and commentary talk about the match rather than random sound bites .I also feel they should try their hardest to have as many people who are contracted in the game so many games leave key talent out. Then their legends as an old school guy that's why people like me play these games and it seems they take away more and more every year and left with so so legends instead of big stars I grew up with I recognise they cant get certain people but I'd be happy with who was inducted in latest hall of fame with a few other big names.

Imagine if your character put everyone down with his finisher, he come up against a big guy like a kane or a kahli and the big guy kicks out of the finisher. The crowd would be stunned and your character would be in disbelief. Damn that would ne cool with the right camera cuts.

I think options are probably just as important as every aspect that you added. I like a sim style wrestling game. More sim than anything that has ever been created. I specifically refer to Physics, Body Damage and dynamic selling (though I will settle for limb damage tiers, selling from the level of impact, turbuckle fights, etc. Now, the vast majority of KZbinrs who represent the WWE die hard gaming community may want a much more arcade HCTP type game which had very little depth or strategy of any kind. Even in my 20s I enjoyed DOR/DOR 2 for its gameplay and there was potential with 2K, but they went too sim for some and too arcade for others. So, having a no sell, faster paced, no stamina options or even just a customizable arcade version too satiate those who want that kind of game, but still giving gameplay options for sim as well. I just would love to have that wrestling sim game that 2K could have been, but tried to satisfy everyone and instead gave a hybrid of mediocrity that contained so many arcade elements but tried to fit them into a “sim” style and it didn’t work. I still think with a lot of your gameplay suggestions a sim game could be fun because of the drama, near falls, holding your hand up looking like your going to tap and instead took one last lunge to grab the ropes to escape a submission is just one example. I get it, that’s not everyone’s idea of fun which is why customization is so important. That’s probably the biggest thing I would add on to your list. I appreciate that you have taken so much of your time and energy doing these reboots. That’s damned commendable. I’m sorry that the YT algorithms have pigeon-holed only into wrestling games because you’re a very intelligent dude with some great ideas. So thanks for sharing them, man.

I agree with every point. I'm not sure how close we are to getting all these things or even how good they'll be, but the biggest problem is that there has not been enough progression in things over the years, hell in the case of the scripted career modes thats a regression. If there were two things I'd get to work on immediately, it would be return the career mode to how it was in 18, but with a female option and emphasis on character interaction. And second it would be give us more choice in universe mode, I don't wanna just pick who wins, I want it to specially be said how the match ends (pin, sub, dq, count out, etc.)

My opinions on what he said 1. I never had a experience with GM Mode since I’m fairly young to the wrestling games community. I would only play it if both Universe and GM Mode stay. 2. I agree. I believe Universe mode should have so much more freedom and it’s not like your just a booker 3. I agree I play PS4 and I see wonderful XBOX creations sadly I can’t use them 4. I like the idea would make things easier for creators. 5. I also agree with this cause there’s not much to do when it comes to gameplay 6. Yes! The feedback project showed 30 matches that where separately put in the match types result project I think the amount of matches new and returning is enough especially the amount of time they had this can’t be slept on (these 3 are literally the top 3 requests) 4. For gameplay, i think the player should be able to pick what they play with. Maybe you want back the old SvR controls, or the controls of 2k19 or you want to stick with the 2k20 gameplay, or a mix.

I feel for online league/universe to work you have to take away the win/loss importance, or it needs to be a seperate mode. As long as win/loss is made to be so important you will get people spamming/glitching to win. For me i would rather have an exciting match and lose than a glitch/spam match and win. You should get ranked based on your entertainment matches win lose or draw

I believe that next year should be the final WWE game that 2K makes and releases and I still think that a new developer should take the reigns (no pun intended) because 2K has lost touch with the WWE product. WWE 2K doesn't get as much love as their precious NBA 2K franchise; they put more love and attention and detail into those games, which isn't fair. Sure, it isn't an actual real sport but it deserves just as much love & respect when it comes to video games. They are just lazy and I don't think they are true wrestling fans like most of us are. I'm sorry 2K but you just don't cut it anymore for me; it's time for a change. I think that WWE should produce the games themselves and partner up with Yuke's or some other developer to make wrestling games great again (no pun intended). But one can only hope for such things.

Producer mode would be best as dlc because not everyone wants or needs it. If you want to produce for like you tube content then should pay for it. I would rather a fully fleshed out and fresh story maker instead.
