This is on point! And having a plan before the ball is hit, Know what you are going to do if the ball comes your way. And this goes for batting as well! Having a plan before going up to bat! Know where you want to hit the ball. Because if you go up just to swing, then you’ll just swing… I always have my players go up to bat with a plan and more then likely your gonna execute that plan. Look for that gap and load up on every pitch! I can’t stress that enough!

Do you have any tips for a player who wants to join the high school team but hasn't played in an little league
@mikekubacki7824 жыл бұрын
Try to practice in the Fall and Winter. If there is a Fall ball league play in it. If there is a baseball academy near you join it and get weekly instruction in hitting and fielding your preferred position. There are weekly baseball camps that meet four times during the Winter. Many are staffed by college players and they are great to learn from. Play, play, and play. If you can get into pickup games with your friends then do it. Play strike out or running bases. All help with hand to eye coordination. Good luck!

Hey coach justin can u tell me how i could keep my head still when i’m batting
@kaleb9184 жыл бұрын
It’s honestly more of a natural thing but the way I did it was just be taking dry swings while looking at your shadow. Mark a spot on the ground and try to minimize the movement.
@calebrossi46174 жыл бұрын
Try and swing a bit slower and just focus on contact instead of homeruns
@Aidanfox88544 жыл бұрын
Put a ball infront of the plate and keep your eye on the ball after your swing this helps to keep your head still and to keep your shoulders in too so not only is your head still you will be going through the ball when you make hood contact

Hey Coach Justin, I'm a huge fan btw, but my coach doesn't really lut much time in to my team practicing and seems a little checked out, and I feel that I love baseball more than anyone on my team eventhough I may not be the best so I could do baseball 24 7 and I wouldn't be tired of it and I tell my team that since my coach lately hasn't been very interested in having us practice i thought i could lead by organizing a team practice, i have now tried this several times in the last month and it seems that nobody want to practice because they make up dumb excuses like video games or they are tired and me trying to be a good teammate and leader isn't working. I would extremly appreciate if you had any Ideas for me to help get my team to practice together with me organizing it, thanks.

I'm a sophomore in high school and I consider myself good, and I'm working every day to get better and I eventually want to make baseball a career. I love the sport but I'm afraid I won't be able to accomplish my dream because the high school years are big for your future, and my school team is full of players who don't really put their heart in the game and hurts me to say, but they aren't very good. My team hasn't won a game in years. With baseball being a team sport I feel like no matter how hard I work, I won't ever be able to do what I love as a career. This idea has freaked me out for a while and I was just wondering if maybe there was any chance a good player on a bad team could make this dream a reality?
