10 Week Motorhome Tour France & Spain Ep 5: South of France into Spain

We cross the border from France to Spain in this motorhome travel vlog. We’ve made it to the South of France where we pick up this journey and head to Oliva in Spain in the van.
On the way we find some fantastic French Aires in Pezenas, Maureillas-las-illas and Mauret Leucate Plage.
But nothing prepares us for the amazing free park up in Spain at L’Hospitalet de L’Enfant and our beachside sunset in Oliva!
We’re full-time vanlifers travelling Europe throughout 2024, we’re motorhoming France and Spain first.

Wow, I think that is possibly your best video to date. We were enthralled from start to finish and thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us. The last time we were in that part of France Malish saw flamingos 🦩 flying over and landing in the Salt lakes, what an experience that was. Chocolate apples! Did you try them? I would really like you to thread Gary’s eyebrows next time please, just so I can hear him squeal😈 . Those were some fantastic blue skies you captured, really felt like spring was on its way. Not sure your return route but if you’re heading towards Santander a nice free spot is at a reservoir just outside Aguila de Campoo about an hour south. It’s a beautiful spot made even better if you go to the town and visit the convento Santa Clara the nuns sell lovely homemade pastel de arroz (little tarts like the Portuguese tarts). 😋

hi, good to see a couple full off life, poor Garry next time he needs a hair cut mabyes we can all chip in if you down load gasall app it tell you the prices off fuel so you can find the cheapest, last year in spain we was paying 1.34-1.60.. safe trip maybes see you on the road one day

Great as always. Making me more excited for France in May. Really hope we get to do Spain next year. Your stop by the beach looked amazing. You parked across bays, is that okay to do? How long would you say is needed to get to Spain for just a holibobs? Would 2 weeks be enough time? 😊

Hi Saffron ❤️ Glad you enjoyed it, so we parked across bays as no one was there, it wouldn't be a good idea if in season or lots of motorhomes. It's around 1k miles to get down so you would have to do a good 300 for 4 days to have a week there, definitely doable but need to be up and off so you have plenty of rest time to enjoy your stops 💕
