I had always heard that he didn’t wanna do it on the grounds that he for the longest time, believed WM 19 was the perfect send off for his career (it was) And he didn’t wanna throw it away for a one off match against a lower card guy. Hell apparently it took a lot of convincing and money to get him to fight Kevin Owens.

I believe the jackass/umaga thing never happened because Vince wasn't particularly hot on it in the first place, but moreso the whole steveo and pontius being deep into their addictions, and then not long after the benoit incident happened, and mtv execs thought it would be bad optics ahead of their next movie. Steveo talks about it on his channel.

They used to occasionally tease her having a match but I’m guessing she refused every time. Also Arnie vs HHH? After that one episode of Smackdown where Arnie slapped HHH I’m guessing they wanted to book a match?
