@genata13 there are no morals in this game. Brands are copying ideas or whole DNAs. When Creed copies Montblanc scent and slaps 10x price tag on it, you, damn moralists, keep quiet. It may smell somewhat more premium, but it is still a ripoff. And by no means production price is justified. Lattafa, for example, have plenty of their own creations, alongside clones, and they don't cost a fortune, unlike other niche brands (Lattafa can be considered as a niche brand too). So in essence, if some niche brand comes up with their own creations, that smell good and expensive, but cost a fraction of the price of your typical Byredo, By Kilian, Creed, BDK and a plethora of others, you simply can't use as an argument, that with those "niche brands you're paying for creativity, rather than price of components themselves", because it just been proven, that creativity doesn't mean being expensive by default. It is pure greed and ripoff, when you want to slap 10x-20x price tag on a fragrance that cost 20-25$ to make, just because you created it. Let alone the fact, that it is very likely that it wasn't your original idea either, just few tweaks here and there to some already known DNA. So please cut it with these morals. Most of these niche brands hardly even spend anything on fragrance's promotion, unlike designer brands with their massive marketing campaigns. So, majority of ingredients are cheap, production and promotion costs are low, yet they want to make a huge profit from every single bottle, so you been guided into thinking, that idea can cost inadequate money. 🤣 Are you even for real?
