My top three endings are: Scorpion from MK2 -- to atone for the crime of killing Sub-Zero's brother (and eventually leading to Noob Saibot), he became Sub's guardian and thus was born Fire and Ice. Shujinko from Deception -- yeah he helped fuck reality better than Thanos' snap and J. Robert Oppenheimer's work on the Manhattan Project combined, but it wasn't so far that he couldn't undo his mistakes and kill the thing he was tricked into creating. Raiden from the same game -- that said, he didn't go unpunished forever. Considering the timeline, this can be the one that follows Shujinko's ending. It also shows something that MK was never afraid of doing; if they could kill Liu Kang in the last game, they could corrupt another well known character in the next one -- pretty much Injustice where Raiden is Superman. Even a Protector of the Realm, a guardian can become so hellbent that they go mad; it's also interesting to point out that Shao Kahn was the same way, an advisor with a lust for power, as was explained in this game.

@@elmono6299 endings in MK2011 and MKX were not that good because the focus was the story mode, but those endings tried to give more dimensions to characters like the revenants or the punching bags of story mode. I think MK11 did better in that regard, I love Kitana's ending in MK11 because she feels like an outcast, you can relate to that, Johnny's journey from the SM of MK2011 to MK11 gets closure in his MK11 ending and don't get me started on Jacqui, love her ending,

In the current timeline that NRS flesh out his lore and make him worthy as part of the main characters. But then again, he never become the true main protagonist such as Liu Kang, Shujinko, Taven and Raiden...because her daughter Cassie completely stole that role in MKX.

What if mokap’s ending was mind-bendingly crazy, like he’s one of many actors in the mortal kombat movie/video game and all the other characters are other motion-capture people? Or what if Mokap had a completely unrealistic but still fun spin on his ending? What if upon winning his arcade mode was given the power to be whoever he wanted as a sort of role reversal, like instead of motion capturing a character’s movements, he got to *be* a cool character of his own? I’m just saying, he may be a joke character, but there’s a lot of ways to make a joke character interesting rather than having them be realistic in their role to the extent of being boring or lame. In my opinion, the crazy way a guest/joke character can break the rules of an established world is what makes their existence in said world so enjoyable, and if used to its full effect, perhaps mokap would actually be liked by a few people.

Here's whats wrong with Jax ending, it doesn't fit him, through out mk 10 and 11 he's shown to be doing what he's going to protect Jackie his family and Sonya's family because of his loyalty to her. Also it's a magical world where guys can shoot ice from their hands dragons roam free and women can blow you up with a kiss theres no need to push real world political issues on a fantasy game. Well for all that MK: Armageddon did right that being bringing back every character, the KaF mode, and Motor Kombat mode, and the improved Konquest Mode it did screw some things up most infamously the fatalities, and the endings.

What I think about Armageddon is that it’s a wonderful game and not lazy but some sacrifices had to be made in order for the entire game to fit and still work, they couldn’t personally give every single character in the game a fatality,brutality,etc, let alone give every single character a cinematic ending, and then had to find a way to make it so the create a character could have an ending

Scorpion's Deadly Alliance ending ties-in to his Deception story, Johnny's ending in Deadly Alliance is obvious cuz he's an actor, didn't like the script the studio gave for the movie about him so he left and created his own movie to tell the true story, Cassie beat Shinnok is his corrupted form and you're questioning how she can beat Shujinko? Cyber Sub Zero's ending in MK 9 was awesome cuz he's a cyborg, he has his freezing abilities, now has Shao Kahn's ruthless soul inside him which will allow him to be a very deadly foe, and his overall new look is badass, and yes Shao Kahn's evilness can affect spirit animals so deal with it Mojo Plays narrator
