When I became a Christian in 1983, the first church I went to was CovenantLife Church in Gaithersburg Md. Che Anh was the first pastor we met and took the classes to become members. I left that church after seeing how they wanted to control every aspect of your life in the name of accountability and being shepherd. I truly liked his teachings. I remember when he was sent out to California to start a CLC there. I’m sorry to hear he’s one of the NAR.

Eddie Chumney has a good one, he is Messiaic Jewish man, very intelligent. Has a good one of a 2 part series on The greater exodus also , speaks about a lot of the Prophet words that 1000% Destroy Margaret Mcdonald 18th century invented notion lies of pretrib rapture. literally NO ppl in the pulpits preaching, in USA are competent about the nearing event . NONE from any popular pulpit of the top 1000 pulpit teaches. mcarther, Sproul, peters, rosengrough, dawson, chan, washer, Prince, Comfort, young, White, Mahler, stanley, NONE, NONE of them are Half way understanding of the Prophets words. So it is a mystery until you get the prophets words properly discerned by ppl that comprehend and know Hebrew and Greek. Unfortunately, the majority of ppl on YT western USA mindset are honestly ignorant and Guess at things about prophecy.

I have family tied up in this movement. In my opinion, going from a charismatic church (I am reformed, but they do not share my views) to the NAR is a simple transition if you’re biblically illiterate, or possibly a false convert. They appeal to the people seeking experiences. We must pray that God opens their eyes. With leaders of the NAR claiming to be these super apostles/glow-in-the dark Christians that actually hear directly from God, it’s hard to argue with them if you don’t know your Bible. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗

Angela Santana , I was in this so called movement. They fine tune the scripture and since I was not around sound theology, teachers or preachers I was blind and led by others who were blind. Plus, I was trusting so easily. Until Holy Spirit this year showed me what 1 John 4 meant and I prayed doe gently. God began to reveal the truth and when covid hit I focused on the Bible praying for sound sisters and teachers not Even knowing what sound meant. God answered my prayers and became Reformed Presbyterian as of June. I’m a baby, that’s super hungry.

I must say that since a teen, sharing the gospel with Che Ahn at a juvenile detention center 45 years ago, I have seen the godly, Bible centered ministry of Mr. Ahn develop and grow with sincerity, biblical truth, dedication, and integrity. With a PhD from Fuller Seminary, he is a well educated, devoted, and exemplary leader, husband, and father for the glory of God. (Have you ever known someone who has so much of the Bible memorized? ) I am not charismatic, but appreciate the different expressions of the Faith that differ from mine, as long as they are biblical and Christ honoring. It is always easy to sit in the sidelines and criticize. Please be careful of tearing down a fellow believer who has done great things for the Jesus' kingdom and glory of God. Have you met Che or interviewed him? Causing division is not a fruit of the Spirit, dear sir.

The leader of my old church started getting HEAVY into the NAR a few years ago. About three months ago “Papa Che” came to our church promoting Wagner University. I have watched him, along with the rest of the group of false prophets, who got it wrong about Trump being reelected, Todd Bentley, etc., for years before Che came. I’ve never seen anything, in the body of Christ, that show resembled a pyramid’s game in my life. The NAR has nothing to do with the great commission nor does it mirror what Jesus or any of the first century church did. They did not go after governments and different “mountains” to change society. The damage these false prophets and self appointed apostles are doing is incalculable.

Hi Alan! Really love your vids! Can you please do a video on the ICC group of churches. They're really popular on college campuses but their doctrine is based on and baptism and works. Basically they say if you are not baptized in their church after going through their bible study sessions, then you are not saved. They're quite zealous and are focused on making disciples

When I was in the NAR movement I went to his church a few times since it was close to San Marino where my sister lives because I was deceived and I thought this was a normal Christian church that operated in the spirit. I took my 4 year old nephew and he was scared. Also, once a year there is a conference called Holy Spirit conference either in Los Angeles or San Diego and many of the leaders in this movement participate like T. Interesting Allan that you are a Postmiller. If I may ask you just one question: When Jesus asked the rhetorical question that when the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8) - the implied answer surely is a clear "no" - and in my understanding, if your position is correct, faith is all that He should find. It always puzzled me. I am sure you would be able to explain this away, so please inform me how you do it. Thanks. (P.S. I still thoroughly enjoy your channel).

@@PoliteLeader Interesting article, thanks Allan (or is it Alan?). The fourth point is probably the strongest point, the first three being somewhat weak in my estimation. The context is about prayer yes, but specifically about not losing heart - but as v.7 shows - the plea is that God must bring justice speedily. And this cannot be ringfenced as applying to justice to Israel, as it refers to ‘His elect who cry to Him day and night’ - ‘and will He delay long over THEM?’ One would have expected that if this Jesus only had Israel or Jerusalem in mind, the word ‘them’ would have not been used. But as His elect is all over the world, it must refer to justice being exacted across the world, which will only occur at our Lord’s return. And, Scripture always speak of our Lord’s imminent or soon return, so Gentry’s third point is especially weak. I too reject the notion that the question “demands” a negative answer, because the mē-particle is absent. But, it sure seems rhetorical, as it was not answered - yet the implied answer does appear to be no, not yes. This, to me I must admit, does allow for faith to be present, but very remote, and not in abundance - and seems to fit with the presence of the elect who wants to see justice fulfilled soon, while not losing heart - and we know only a few will be saved. Just as a side note, the issue of “this generation” - it does not refer to the people sitting right in front of Jesus (He could just as well then have said “your generation” or just “you”). I have a full response to that from a paper I did, but it is too long to attach here. If you have my e-mail address, you can send your take to me there, so we don’t do this on a public forum. I went to Che Ahns church in pasadena from 2008 to 2010. It was worse than morningstar. Che ahn was constantly asking for money to buy a 17 million dollar building that was next to the ambassador auditorium so they could make a "Christian" movie studio and his son could act in the movies they were supposedly going to make. The church was full of drug addicts sexual immorality and demon possessed people who the leadership never made any efforts to help. They invited a movie producer over to tell us about a movie about a gay guy he was working on. Che Ahns son was interveiwing him on stage and he kind of nervously said "wow that's out of the box!" His way of not offending either side.

My family goes to this church, we heard about it from when they sued the state and won the right to remain open. We initially loved it because of how everywhere there are huge conservative Trumpies, but after a while I started to feel uneasy. The way they preach and the things they teach were just so... weird. It wasn't unbiblical per say, but something didnt sit right in my spirit. And then they started promoting the Passion Translation and that was when I knew that this church was just DEEP into the whole NAR and hyper charismatic movement. My family loves it there, but I just go to be respectful since I can worship God anywhere and the people there are still my brothers and sisters in Christ.

It would be more profitable to take on deceptive philosophies and ideologies rather attacking the people with whom you disagree. No one is perfect except our Lord Jesus. If you disagree with something Che Ahn says and believes, address that instead of attacking the man. You too will have to give an account, bro. And yes, when revival comes it is always a move of the Holy Spirit, but He always uses people. That’s what the Great Commission is all about.
