when 1:43 came up, the last one, The Worst of Them All, I thought from the images it was going to be called Putting Your Violin on the Floor. As I was taught, it's the Cardinal Sin of Violining. Never move a violinist's instrument onto the floor (or a chair) if you want to leave the room with your life, in fact dont touch the case, full stop -- this means you, pianists. As any violinist can tell you, the number one reason there is a piano in the music room is so violinists have somewhere safe to put their violin on.

1. I can tune it so it sounds about right, but generally I prefer it if my teacher did it but with quarantine, I have to make do with what I got 2. I'm actually still learning vibrato, going for my grade 5 as soon as quarantine's over. I do my vibrato exercises before I start practicing (especially my 4th) but I still hate using it 😔 (I find it hard to shift between position so let's do it the hard way :) ) 3. I think my hand posture is right most of the time, I actually don't check often enough. 4. I don't know this one either, 😂 My bow sometimes doesn't go straight, but it's not too wild. I tend to focus on my left arm, so something to check next time I practice. 5. NO I DON'T DO THIS ONE MY NECK AND SHOULDER WILL HURT LIKE HELL WHEN I PRACTICE. I make sure it's in the right position and I'm comfortable before playing. 6. I'm sometimes guilty for this one! Only when I'm doing vibrato on the G (and sometimes D) string. My teacher makes sure my left-hand position is right, so I'm presuming my right hand is fine. 7. Nope! I actually have a really good sense of pitch! I make sure it goes with the melody and the key signature is right (i.e flat sharps naturals), I do sometimes need help with them though. 8. Nope! I used to use music stands before (the collapsible ones) and I'll tighten it to the point it's hard to loosen! Now I just lean it against the TV since I'm lazy (don't question where I put furniture for this one) 9. Nope! I rosin my bow twice/ thrice a week that's not happening! 10. ... I do get lazy sometimes. But my mum practically forces me to play for an hour every day, but I'm starting to love what I do! From you fellow musical weeb, ~Lily/Yuri
