I'm sorry, but the Raid sponsorship ruined the whole video for me. Seriously, that game's been shoved down our throats so aggressively for years, that it's become a pain in the buttocks, and trust me, that's the nicest thing I can say about Raid, even now. I'm just being polite here, but Raid & Plarium just aren't worth it at all when it comes to sponsors, there are so many better games that could've been chosen, and Raid is NOT one of them. Yes, you do get money, but you're basically getting money from a company who's exposing the vulnerable to gambling so to speak, and you're not really helping if you're promoting their product. The women's chamber could have been saved by having Asuka in first and Shayna last. Have maybe one gone by the time she got in and let her wreck shop. Then give her and Asuka like 5 minutes and you save them both. Also, make sure whoever Asuka started with was a heel, followed by another heel. But the winner was right but everything after was done wrong. Monster don't need to drop 5 minute promos. Just have them burn the house down. Also, go back to hiring local talent to get squashed

@@vids2002 Yeah, _in general_ wrestling companies should employ local competitors for squash matches (NOT PPV MATCHES of bloody course). AEW stacks Dark and Dark Elevation with local talent to give their roster people to fight without tanking everyone's records with 50-50 booking, and some of them even get over and end up signed. But WWE, despite being the richest wrestling company in the world, is too stingy to hire jobbers any more (Vince is such a tightass that his main reason for hating tag team wrestling is supposedly that he's paying 4 guys for 1 match instead of 2) so they just make the main roster talent do the jobbing instead. They have friggin' _Cesaro_ as a jobber now for crying out loud! When was the last time he won a match?

My only issue with it, if I were to nitpick, is that (assuming he takes the spot that night) it is only one year after Edge stole Kofi's spot in a chamber match (after just losing one). I really like heels doing that occasionally, but doing a spot like that too often almost cheapens the significance of having a spot in a match, IMO. The best solution to this is to just make qualifying matches mean something, then McMahon lets Batista enter without having to qualify (then go with your idea of him entering last)

I don't know if there is anything that really could have saved the Elimination Chamber 2020 women's match other than putting in different contenders, but if they wanted to tell the "Shayna is a monster!" storyline what they could have done was: - Shayna finally gets released and she eliminates the other 3 contestants already in the match one by one - Instead of standing in the ring for what felt like 5-10 minutes she then goes to Liv Morgan's pod and starts to kick and beat on the door until she breaks it open - She goes in to Liv's pod, beats her down and eliminates her - Shayna then goes to Asuka's pod, teases and taunts her briefly and then climbs up on top of the pod where she starts jumping and stomping on the pod until she breaks through the roof and drops in to Asuka's pod - Shayna and Asuka, stuck in the pod, start exchanging blows and are just pounding on each other and "throwing" each other back and forth as much as the tiny pod will allow - Referees on the outside don't know what to do and start getting excited and/or are freaking out so they just decide to unlock the pod and open the door - Shayna and Asuka then bust out of the pod's door and then proceed to have the rest of the match in the middle of the ring/chamber I think something like that would have been a better "Shayna is a monster!" visual, but as said the best thing they could have done was either put other women in the match or not done the match at all or just spent more time building up the other competitors: Natalya has just been a jobber the last few years and Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan were about as bottom of the women's card as you could go - they just had no hope of winning because WWE never gave us a reason to believe they could win

A tag team Elimination Chamber where New Day gets 3 participants instead of 2, they enter last, and they win the whole thing would be a great way to get New Day over as heels. The one big catch: have them WIN the titles in this underhanded fashion rather than just defend them.

I'll have to disagree with that Smackdown/ECW one, for the match that looked bad I remember it being more enjoyable than it was and at least Taker and Batista were in it for the whole duration. That intercontinental chamber was truly bad but it proved Ziggler could rally the troops in order to maintain some semblance of the match still happening. The 2020 Women's chamber would have been more justified if Shayna actually beat Becky at Mania, Lynch was about to be preggers anyways. I'm honestly rooting for AJ to win it so he'll face Edge at Mania and Edge can maybe get 1 more short title reign for his final run.

People weren't upset about Swaggers victory until the storyline with Alberto Del Rio happened after the PPV, but once Shinsuke Nakamura won the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber was announced as an exclusive Raw PPV with a number one contender to Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship, everybody was upset prior to the PPV because we already knew the outcome. That's something else that's great about the Elimination Chamber in 2013, the fans didn't know a head of time who would win. With the return of Jack Swagger & Mark Henry as well as having Randy Orton & Chris Jericho in the match, it was anyone's guess who could challenge Alberto Del Rio. Even Team Hell No had a legit chance if they planned it right and have Daniel Bryan or Kane eliminate the other after offering a hug. Other than Mandy Rose & Sonya DeVille and The IICONICS who had a chance at winning besides Boss N Hug Connection? Definitely not The Riott Squad with Ronda Rousey on the roster, Fabolous Glow might have been over but not over enough to be the first tag team champions, and nobody cared about Nia Jax or Tamina.

I, for one, believe that Elimination Chamber 2018 is very entertaining. Inserting 7 highly talented wrestlers inside of the Chamber is a wonderful sight. But, I guess what makes it terrible is the ending. Braun Strowman looked monster in that night( kicking out of the "shield bomb"), sadly he fell short to Roman. I love the performance of Braun that night, he's not the just a monster with huge frame but a big guy can deliver FREAKING running dropkicks!! He's fast I can't comprehend why it looks like his Universal title win is just a consolation prize (replacing Reigns at Mania 36).

yeah I remember hating the Bazler Elimination Chamber Match. Not because of Shayna I wanted her to win, but it wasn't booked right. their were teases of the implosion of Riott Squad that never happen as well and I hated it when it was just Bazler and Asuka talking with a pod seperating them, asuka making fun of Shayna was cringe. I much prefer a Chamber Match when it's more fleshed out and not just a one person show. Same goes for Rumble match, the majority liked the Lesnar Rumble match from 2 years ago but I hated it till Drew eliminated him. Regardless that Bazler Chamber match was not my favorite at all

The Baszler issue seems to be due to the structure of the match less so than the booking. I think there needs to be a rule where if only one person is active in the Chamber the next entry happens immediately even if it's sooner than the actual allotment. I also liked the idea I saw somewhere where she could drag out an opponent. She eliminates one, hangs around until the next pod opens, eliminates them, hangs around but starts to get annoyed, new opponent enters, eliminated, then she gets bored enough to smash a pod open and just drag her opponent into the match. Asuka would then enter normally just as she eliminates the opponent she pulled into the match and the two close out the match.

Outside of #1, this list can be summarized by four things: a) Don't have one person who everyone knows will win it and everyone is just there as fodder, b) don't have one person destroy the entire field, c) big men that aren't also fast are not good in the elimination chamber, and d) a swerve win does not mean a good match. #10 is D, #9 is C, #8 is C, #7 is A, #6 is A, #5 is B, #4 is B, and #3 is A, and #2 is D. The only one that doesn't fit in those four things is #1, and no one could have predicted the disaster this became.
