Yeah. I like HBK though but you're right. The before 2002 HBK had a lot of enemies. Bret Hart, Marty Jannetty, Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker, even his best friend Triple H. I heard he and Hunter had a heat at the backstage when Shawn return to WWE in 2001. Shawn was not himself and he angry at Hunter and then he went home after the altercation.

Well, I grew up and stopped following Chris Jericho. He used to be my favourite wrestler, but he is now trashing WWE, after everything they did for him. Also, he showed up on AEW out of shape. He should have been professional and lost weight for his AEW run. Maybe Jericho needs to shut his mouth more, do less talking and eating, and just be more professional and grateful for what WWE made him.

@@TRUMPKILLA Not the point. When Jericho first joined WWE in '99 from WCW, he trashed WCW, who he said did nothing for him. But in their case, he was right. He was in a Cruiserweight program, and was an afterthought, was denied a match with Goldberg, and then the NWO buried him. He went to WWE, and within a couple of years, was pushed to the moon. He was booked to beat the two biggest names of the era (SCSA and the Rock) in the one night and won both belts, he won every belt in WWE twice. He had major matches and feuds. He main evented WrestleMania X8 (not WWE's fault that more fans cheered Hogan v Rock). Now, I have no problem Jericho going to AEW. If he went, and simply put over the exciting new youth coming through, and saw himself as a veteran who was putting over new talent, I wouldn't have a problem. But why trash WWE? In fact, this is the main problem with AEW. WWE lives rent-free in their heads, the fact that they compare themselves, that people like Jericho mentions them all the time, that AEW, instead of building their own talent, sign Jake Roberts, Christian, Punk, Moxley and Jericho, says how obsessed they are. Heck, now they want to sign Sasha Banks. I bet if AEW became the biggest game in town, they would start copping criticism too. It is the tall poppy syndrome. Maybe Tony Khan's history would be dug up by hacky wrestling journos then.

The disdain between Alexa & Sasha has always been intriguing to me. Like, you could feel the bad blood. But unlike with many on the list, we don't really know the root cause of everything. I'll give Hart and HBK credit where it's due: Bret seems very vindictive and unforgiving when that line is crossed, which isn't exactly a bad thing. HBK admittedly later on his attitude in the late 90s was unforgivable in it's own right. The fact that these two men who hated each other probably more than any two men before or after were able to become at least acquaintances shows that admitting one's faults can fix a lot of things

It makes sense. Even with their burying each other personally and politically they both always spoke very highly of each other's in ring work and knew they had great matches together. Once HBK and Bret were able to put their pride aside, I think that mutual respect for what they accomplished together was a good foundation to reevaluate a more cordial relationship.

But Punk is still wrestling in a top company and Ryback still hasn't acknowledged his role in the negative parts of his WWE experience, so it'll be a looong time before they even have the opportunity to reconcile

You missed something on the whole Jericho and Goldberg in WWE. Goldberg was called before wrestler's court, an impromptu setup that the wrestlers use to keep peace backstage. At this point Undertaker was heading it up and called Goldberg out on talking smack over what he can back up. He had to admit that Jericho beat him in the fight backstage and admit to everyone, Jericho included that Jericho was the better wrestler.

The only people that could have even the slightest input and say involving their storylines were (at the time) John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and maybe Randy Orton, and although Randy was kind of an asshole at times in this era, he rarely--if ever objected to anything storyline related or when it came down to putting anyone over. So it was strictly the few guys at the very top who were close with Vince. Not too long after the Matt/Edge rivalry, there was that whole "bedding ceremony" thing with Lita, Edge, and Cena. Lita heavily opposed this, but they told her if she didn't do it, she'd be fired that night. I'd place money on them doing the same thing to Matt.

Meaning he signed a contract knowing what was going to happen going forward in the WWE while still wrestling for ROH. If he didn’t want to do it, he wouldn’t have came back to do that angle. He would have just stayed in ROH. The other two above you are right. Matt and Edge talked about it numerous times already. They all tried to be as professional as can be and tried to get along backstage. And they said it was very healthy. And they also definitely made good money out of it. Matt would have 100% flat out said that they would have fired him if he didn’t want to do it.

She wanted to elevate the women's tag team division but Vince wanted Naomi and Sasha split immediately and have them job out to Bianca and Ronda for two months without having any plans for the women's tag team championship. If this was younger Triple h and Shawn as tag team champions and they're were told to job out to Steve Austin and The Rock for two months without doing a single thing with the tag team championship, we all know they would told Vince no.

Regarding Sasha banks and Bliss, one can interpret this two ways (1) Bliss knew what Sasha was saying was true and didn't have a response or Bliss knew Sasha was full of it and decided to not to lower herself. Regardless of the reason , Bliss took the highroad and said we're gonna be professional. That makes Sasha look bad
