I had this one in the 80's!...very cumbersome and didn't go round furniture, but knocked tables out the way! The elecrokinetic head was useful though!

I love the Hoover features. But to me, Hoovers creek and pop more than the Kenmore/Panasonic vacuums. My mom gave me a Kenmore whispertone. She bought it between 88 and 90. It had a really hard body. The tools were stored on the on the body with no door to cover. She purchased the same brand and name vacuum in 1997. It had a cover lid over the onboard tools. It was nice , but to me the on she gave me was more solid. I used that machine more than 27 years. The hose split and I taped it. Over all, I feel Hoover vacuums had more gimmicky features. The colors were better on Hoover. But the kenmores were more sold. The tools were horse hair. They were secured with pips. But the whisperstones were bult to Sears specs.

Happy anniversary. I was watching that ad video a couple of months ago I didn't realise that was your first upload. It's crazy to think you started uploading at the end of my first vac and then that began again at age 17 or 18 I think. that's also when I found your channel and have been watching since then. This is a good old vacuum cleaner from my childhood, I like the 80s Hoover Sensotronic, it reminds me of dated vacuum cleaner Miele revaluation cylinder vacuum cleaner with the remote control handle where reduce the power. The Hoover Sensotronic sounds like a Miele cylinder vacuum cleaner withe the quiet noise

I have this same Hoover hose but its a bit different with the switches but its the same mold and style. It must have went to the American version of this cleaner, or similar. I only paid $2 for it, I figured it would come in handy once I ever found the cleaner without its hose. lol
