I've this carpet cleaner, it's very effective but it does have a tendency of getting block and no water comes out. So, as this gentleman says make sure you hoover first! If you need to unclog any debris take off the water tank and you should be able to clean it thoroughly

I did see that Bissell has an extractor that also has steam and affordable.

I use bissell spot cleaner solution in mine and iv not had any issues

Neat machine. Pretty effective and I like the way the recovery tank comes apart for cleaning. I never understood why companies use that style of hose. If you are going to use a wire reinforced hose, get a clear hose with the yarn/fibre matrix/grid as that is a bit more robust. If not, just use a basic crush resistant hose. My Rainbow MiniJet (spot/stair/upholstery cleaner attachment for E series and SRX models) has the latter. For the price of a MiniJet though, I don't understand why Rexair just doesn't use 10 ft of wire reinforced hose. Wire reinforced hose I find is more flexible than crush resistant and less likely to kink as well. Of course the downside of those hoses is they rob airflow performance a little bit and if you step on the hose with enough force, it gets pinched off, possibly rendering the hose useless, but I digress. This machine is quite neat overall and thank you, Roger for sharing.

That first demo result was very impressive. We have a similar machine that we had to buy after I got a little tipsy one Christmas and decorated the carpet. I’d love to see how this deals with black coffee stains please as I’ve recently dropped one on our new light carpet, it’s wool so I couldn’t use those chemicals but it would still be interesting to see.
