Nice surprise finding this video. I am a G0 amateur but I cut my teeth in the early days on CB in the 80's and Sideband on 11m. It has fond memories for me and its nice to see CB still active and SSB and AM being legal....10 years wow I have not kept up with my old hobby that well which got me into Ham Radio back in the late 80's. Happy days, I’m still on now but I was on back in the day 1984 onwards back in Birmingham mainly on fm as the old Aunty Mary was taboo back then, my handle was pink panther 😅 we had big bear breakers club by Warley woods an old scout hut and channel 9 Cb repair shop in bearwood, handles we had stardust lil, Mako, diode etc I live in Rhos on sea now North wales not much action here really but old Fred in the shed runs a good channel along with yours of course Dave, great video this one mate nice one 👊

i've just picked up an ABBA realistic cb radio £5 the ABBA one worked perfect but I can't seem to get anyone on it. Nobody seems to be broadcasting. I'm using a bit of aerial TV antenna cable because I haven't got myself proper antenna yet

I haven’t got a microphone processor, I’m not that into it these days really mate haha, back 10 years ago I had all sorts though. Kit list… SS9900, iMax2000(early one) and a AT200 Pro ATU because the antenna has been up so long it is wayyyy out of tune 😅
