I wanted to show the evolution of how they grew as a whole group, which is why I didn't include collaboration songs or solos. I also included the into the new world ballad version because it was one of their most emotional performances and it's their first time performing it as 8 after Jessica left :(

I spent my youth with snsd. I got into kpop during 2006, I initially hated soshi (stupid I know) but they captivated my heart in 2011, I was a junior in highschool during that time. In fact if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have met my girlfriend of 5 years. I've watched them grow as an onlooker and as a fan for 6 years. Their name girls generation really fits them since I've spent a generation of my life growing and loving them. There will never be another girl group like them. The legacy they have engraved into a generation of youths worldwide is unforgettable. Thank you for existing girls, you really changed my life.

Tbh theres something about the harmony between sica-taeyeon, sica-seohyeon, sica-fany, sica-sunny voices (also basically sica-everyone) that makes every single song memorable and u cant help but to long for it now that shes not in the songs anymore ;;; her voice and tae, IN MY OPINION, brings and blend everything together and make even the weirdest song sounds good (it's like how baekhyun n chen's voice makes almost all of exo's songs bearable to my ears and i'm not even an exoL)
