Are you high? 2006-2016 was literally the dark age for the WRC. No competition, two unbeatable drivers, most manufacturers leaving... It's doing better since 2017. Cooler cars, more power, more manufacturers (though we could do with 1 or 2 more) and more rallies.

WRC was great from the 1995-2005 back when there was McRae,Burns,Makinen,Gronholm,Sainz,Solberg,Rovanpera but nowdays is just bad its all about citroen and Loeb

It become less interesting and become just ford vs citroen championship. More and more teams went to other class or away from rally sport completely. I always been fan of the cars more, than drivers and too much left.

all this fight for Block being in this video or not is just non sense. He isn't the best driver even in the US, but at least he is in the WRC competing against the big guys. I would like Monster WRT to add another driver to the team just like they did in Rally Mexico. The reason I see why he should be in this video, he added a little bit of fun to WRC, even with his retirements and crashes. That's it.

It is just a sad view what the sport is nowadays. In my mind WRC was one of the most exciting motorsport categories some years ago. The fights were so tough and dramatic and there were so many incredible talents so that you could not choose for which driver you should cheer. But now the sport changed into bad so fast over the last couple of years it is just sad. Hopefully WRC will have a brighter future!

I believe Ken Block should be in this video. Whether you like it or not he has increased the popularity of WRC throughout the world. This is only a good thing as more sponsors, manufacturers and people will get involved and help keep rallying alive. WRC and Rallying is dieing thanks to Uneconomically expensive cars, short rallys, environmental action and FIA politics eg team radios in cars allowing drivers to know their position. WRC needs to bring back simplicity to gain more competitors.

some of you guys should get your facts straight. Makinen was with mitsubishi from 1995-2001. this video does the last 10 years of the WRC, in 2002 he was with subaru. he IS featured in the video. Also, the Mitsubishi WRC debuted in 2001, and was utterly awful. the next years was nothing but struggling for them. I think they themselves would like to forget the period after 2000 asap.

I do remember back when WRC was interesting. Then then the only person capable of challenging loeb left WRC and the only other person to challenge loeb over the last few years took a backseat position on loebs team. i havnt watched any races this season, but i can correctly assume the order of the top 4 without actually knowing.

And? He is a driver in the WRC, so its his damn right be shown as equal as the other driver. Rallycross is meant to be the entrance into the WRC (or just for a bit of mudracing for amateurs). Gymkhana racing is still in its infancy, but as you might see it tends to go into real precision drifting in a pegged course.

10 year just scratching the surface, when I started watching WRC there was Ford Escort Mexico and Walter Röhlr in Ascona 400. Then the Audi Quattro showed up and stealed the show, a couple of year later the Peugeot won the show. Then it accelerated to Gruppo B until the regulation stopped it and the show was over. That was my peak and after that it has not catching my interrest.

It is amazing that even in a sport where the crashes are so incredible, we don't give a damn about them. The way the teams work, and how they keep pushing themselves to the limits every time, how they keep going dispite the damage that they had sustained... This is what the WRC is all about, and it's awesome.

The WRC is one of the most boring rally championships in the world now that Skoda, Peugeot , Subaru,Toyota, Mitsubishi and Lancia have gone. When I used to watch it in 1999-2005 it was one of the most exiting championships ever now the exiting drivers have gone :'(. R.I.P Colin McRae R.I.P Richard Burns We miss you.

Only Citroen, Ford, and Mini manufacture WRC-spec cars. I particularly miss Subaru, and it's a crime they don't field teams with their latest Impreza design; that car looks like it is MADE for a fast off-road drive! What the heck happened that they won't field some teams?

It's a little bittersweet to look at this video... Back then we had drivers and codrivers with real personality: Tommi, Marcus, the Solbergs, Carlos, Markko, Beef, Phil, Richard, Colin, etc... Now only Petter and Seb can be distinguished from the others. But I hope some new faces can help that.

These guys are the best drivers in the world. The track conditions and obstacles are always unpredictable, and they never back down. They all have more patience and courage than drivers in any other motorsport.

Could've been when one of the co-drivers forgot his pace notes at the last time check point (I forget which team!) and the team helicopter had to follow the car and relay the notes for the stage. Otherwise I'm not sure.

R.I.P WRC 1997-2005. before 2005 was competition with teams and drivers, after 2005 wrc is dead to me, driving with womens cars and has one good driver, Sebastian Loeb.
