He knows you need emotions in a different perspective. He takes care of you like the beloved child in the family and tries to prepare you for life. Thank you for taking us with you on your journey through life.

I must say my dear Daniel, that the panorama looks like my home. Last weekend, we got about 120mm of rain which is unusual. Do not worry, my home is on the upper ground of my "paradise" and a small canal has the ability to control the water flow. However 😁we had a mild September compare to the usual autumn or fall as some anglophone calls which will be on Saturday the 23rd of this month! I am happy to let you know that I am catching up with your vlogs! There are so different from each other but still magnificent to watch. Bisou 🥰my dear Daniel! It is 18h28 and time for dinner. Just for the record CBC News · Posted: Nov 10, 2010 6:22 AM AST | Last Updated: November 10, 2010 "Many parts of New Brunswick are drying out after a five-day deluge of rain, but no community has been hit harder than Mechanic Settlement. The tiny community, located where the Kennebecasis River crosses the road between Sussex and Fundy National Park, got the record rainfall in the province, an astounding 321 millimetres over the past five days." I realise when not taking about love we talk about the weather!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A new subscriber here 😊. Weve had quite the drought here in British Columbia, Canada. We haven't been getting the usual pre- winter rains either. I like your water system! I'm hoping you'll be able to collect water from the other roofs on your property too! I would suggest perhaps a screen (wire mesh) over your barrel to keep leaves out and small thirsty animals safe. Also, a few videos back, you were looking for a lantern in a building that had all sorts of tools and other stuff in it but didn't know what to call the building in English. In Canada, we'd call that a shed (where tools and junk go 😂).
@thomasreilly4156 Жыл бұрын
Nice job Daniel. A couple of thoughts. I like your water catchment system. That will work great for what you are trying to do. If that isn't enough water for your needs then simply put another barrow or two in serries with the one you have. That will allow you to catch more water when it rains and last longer for you. The other thing I wanted to mention is that video that had so many views is the one that got me started on your channel! I love how you are just being you. That is very refreshing. Keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next one.

Change, whether it be moving from one place to another, or the changing of the seasons, or even the changes in our relationships, they all give us something to overcome. Usually we have to overcome fear of the unknown. What will tomorrow bring? I was born and raised in the city. I know how small our world can be, when it's contained in a house that is sometimes very small. But when you move to the country, with lots of land, your world gets a little bit bigger. And it can be a daunting task to be a part of that world. I'm sure you will do fine, as you have already shown us that you are adapting. I too like to be out in the country, which is why I moved. I don't mind being alone, but then I also yearn for companionship. I try to be with friends to help combat loneliness, which is separate from being alone. As an artist, I love my quiet time. I can create better when I'm alone. But I also have to be with people, so I make sure I get that time to do so. As far as the seasons changing, I think I agree about things moving inward... not only ourselves moving inwards, but also moving into our dwellings more. We tend to stay inside as a metaphor for our emotions going inside as well. I must say that I don't like fall... well to be more specific, I don't like the approach of fall. Once fall has set in, the brisk air, and the smells of the dry wet leaves make me very contemplative, and I take many walks in the woods with my hot cup of coffee. Many times I sit on the porch and feel winter sneaking up one day at a time, and it reminds me that I will have to stay indoors even more. You have such an opportunity to be yourself on your little homestead. You can be free, and enjoy life, as you have shown us in past videos. (I am not sure I could swim naked in some of the weather you swam in, but I may give it a try if asked. heheh) Take each day as it comes, greet it with affirmation that you welcome the day, and that it will be the best day. I had to learn it the hard way, but I now enjoy life to the fullest. I love hearing what you say, what you do, and your thoughts. Means a lot. Enjoy❤❤
@DanielErik Жыл бұрын
What a beautiful comment! I really appreciate that you took the time to write all of this! 💕 Yes, change tends to give us something to overcome, especially when it comes to fear. But at the end of it all, it will most likely have helped us grow. I can fully relate to the feeling of the would feeling small in a city. Just like you, I was born and raised in one, and living in an apartment made the world feel very small. It definitely feels bigger now, when walking through vasts forests and upp on mountains where I can see land as far as the eye can reach! 💕 Couldn't agree more when you say that loneliness is something different than being alone. It's a huge difference. Just like you, I create more and better when I'm by myself. But I can definitely feel like I need friends. That I need people by my side. So that's something I'll have to work on here; finding people I like to be around! It sounds like you have that, which makes me happy for you! 🥰 So do I understand you here, you don't like the fact that you will soon have to stay indoors more? That's fully understandable. I love fall nowadays (didn't use to) because it's so pretty! And then of course, the air and how crisp it feels! But I can also relate to not wanting to be inside as much as one typically does during winter. Oh, I highly recommend taking an ice swim! But yes - the first few times it will honestly feel pretty horrible! 😅 But the more you do it, the more you get used to it. And all of a sudden, you start craving the kick of energy it gives! 😄 So glad to hear you enjoy life to the fullest nowadays! I hope it stays that way! For both of us! ❤️ Again, thank you so much for watching, and for taking the time to write such a beautiful comment! Sending you a big hug from my corner of the world! 🤗

@@DanielErik I didn't expect such a lovely reply! I do like to comment when I feel something stir inside me that has to be said. Its the same with my art, or the music I do. Its my way of reaching out. So when I take time to reply, it's because I feel the passion of what I'm replying to. There is a balance to having friends in your life, and then being by yourself. Even if you are in a relationship, there are moments where you still need to be alone. And that goes for both who are in the relationship. It should be understood that it's not because you don't want to be with them, but because you need time to reflect, gather your thoughts, and then be able to share that with whomever you are with. There is nothing in the world better than having that one person to be so intimate and are able to talk about anything, no matter what it is. There was a time, years ago, when I went to a health spa. They had what was appropriately called the "ice plunge". I would do it once in a while, but never naked, and not as much as I probably should. I guess I will have to be shown by someone who does it all the time. 😊 The world you have created for yourself seems so idyllic. Its like the perfect landscape, a very quaint home, and so close to a beautiful lake! Who wouldn't want that? Truly you have found paradise! I agree completely about the fall colors. That part of fall is what allows me to let go of summer, after a few cool days hit. It's like anything else, you either hate it, or you adapt and embrace it. I know when I finish my art studio, I will be able to go inside, stay warm and cozy while I create art. I hope I haven't bored you with long replies, but you do put out such wonderful vibes with your videos and your replies. Thank you for taking time out of your life to reply back. ❤❤

The country life appears to be exactly what you needed - you seem so happy & like a weight has been lifted. I can’t wait until we can start enjoying some cooler temps & hopefully some rain. We’ve been so hot & dry this summer. Thankfully it looks like starting this coming week we will drop from the mid 90’s to the low to mid 70’s for high temps - which I’m so ready for! I’m already excited to see what you plan for a garden - what are you most looking forward to growing? ~ All the best❤
@DanielErik Жыл бұрын
Hi Kevin! I'm so glad you can see how happy I feel, that my love for this place shines through the camera! Oh, mid 70's sounds way more manageable than mid 90's... I just to love extreme heat, but something happened a few years ago, and now I want it around 70's, haha! Oh, the garden! Such a project that I should partly start with right before the snow comes... The only thing is, I don't know where to get all the soil I need! What I want to do, it dig in the lawn I have now, to get rid of the grass. Then add more soil, preferably so it's a little bit higher than the rest of the lawn. And I want to do so right before the snow comes. That way, the soil will be ready right when the snow has melted, but no weeds will grow before it because the snow will cover it up! 😅 But as said, I need extreme amount of soil and that's expensive, at least when buying bags at the local grocery store! 😂 So I have to figure something else out! What I'm mostly excited for is probably more potatoes, broccoli, carrots and onions, because that's what I eat a lot of! But also more rhubarb! Oh, and flowers! I want a little section that's flowers for our pollinators! ☺️ Sending you a big hug, Kevin! Hope fall will be wonderful where you are! 🤗🥰

This is amazing Daniel, I'm so happy for you!! It is well deserved and I also find it inspiring to watch your channel grow so much recently and to see you finally living the life you want! ❤ I loved the shot of the moon moving into the sun, beautiful. And that first piano song, oh my god!! I love that tune, I know it from the first The Sims game and have it on my playlist since then.😊

Thank you, I really appreciate you feeling happy for my growth here! That means a lot! 💕 I really wish you were able to create more videos as well! That somehow a lot of time would just open up for you so you can do what you want! ❤️ Oh how fun that someone recognized that song! I absolutely love it! And I was a HUGE The Sims fan growing up! 😄

@@DanielErik I believe I will get back to creating myself at some point, don't worry 🙂 I still need to find my way and learn to stop worrying about the success, but just do what I feel like, it's just like you said in your video. I felt discouraged previously that my videos weren't getting any views, and as a result, I lost the purpose and motivation why I want to create them in the first place... which is not for views 😅 It's easy to get caught up in that, you have went through it as well. I just think it's so amazing how much your channel is growibg now that you follow your path. Things just flow naturally when one is on the right track! And I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is inspired by your growth and journey! 🤗 Haha yes, I was a big The Sims fan as a teen too! And since I always loved building the most, the build mode piano songs stuck with me and I listen to them sometimes even today. It's so cool that you can play one of them, even if you don't remember it all! My favourite is the longest wich goes on for 6:30 minutes, I don't know the names of the songs though. But all of them have such a great energy!

@@freedom.in.silence Oh, yes! It's so easy to get lost in the algorithm and trying to get views etc! It's one of the things I really dislike the most with social media. It's so toxic - especially since it's so hard to ignore! I wish we both will be able to do and pursue what gives us joy and meaning! ❤

I'm so happy for your success on KZbin! I also love autumn with the leaf color and cooler weather. It is not quite here in my area, but soon it will be. I hope the photo course goes well. I have more experience with photos and less with videos, so I'm trying to learn the other direction.

Then we're both trying to learn something new! ☺️ I agree with you, autumn is becoming one of my favorite seasons! I used to dislike it because summer was over, but since I "discovered nature", a real passion for it, it has grown on me each year! It's such a beautiful time! I wish us both a happy autumn with lots of photos and videos! 💕

Awwww! My heart fills with joy hearing that you were looking forward to a new video! What a compliment! ❤️ And thank you for the recommendation about a lid!! I had no idea about that! We’ve had barrels filled up with water before, but never on a pedestal for a garden, it’s more been to refill the well that goes to the shower. We haven’t had problems with that then, but I don’t want that to become a problem so I’ll definitely look into that!! Thank you! 🙏🏻🥰

Hi, and thank you! 🥰 I don't really paint nor write poetry. Both are something I might try out though! I am pretty decent at drawing, but haven't really painted. I've bought an easel and some canvases actually! I bought it over a year a go, but then I never did anything with it because I was still working a full-time job etc. I hope to try it out soon though! ☺️

Hi there! Yes, I'm using Google Translate to read your comment! Amazing how technology can help us! ☺️ Aww, now I get all teared up!! How wonderful to hear you love what I do! Wow!! ❤️ What you're describing, how you feel peace watching, is exactly what I hope to create for others! Thank you for saying that! I can also recommend "Jonna Jinton" and her videos. She also lives in Sweden, and make AMAZING videos! She's such an inspiration! I fully agree with you! Money is not everything! It may mean a lot to someone in need, to put food on the table and a roof over ones head. But when that is achieved, being having more and being wealthy does not mean you'll get happier. Aww, thank you for mentioning that I feel approachable. That means a lot! I would never want anyone to feel like they can't approach me. We need to care for one another! 💕 Sending you plenty of hugs, all the way to Vietnam!! ❤️
