Greed, pure and simple. The station was owned by Entercom, which is second only to iHeartRadio (Clear Channel) for number of radio stations it owns. Entercom just bought CBS Radio. They were legally required to get rid of some of the stations they own to prevent the appearance of a monopoly (even though that's just exactly what it is). They chose KSWD as one of the stations to get rid of. It was sold to the highest bidder, which was this automated satellite "Christian" thing. This is like the second or third such station in LA, which means nobody's going to listen and hopefully they'll sell the station and it can go to somebody decent. KSWD has been through many, many changes in its life and this is like its 5th or 6th set of call letters! So stay tuned, something may happen sooner than you think!

ksol1460tv Unfortunately EMF is non commercial, support comes from donations from the "flock". A very successful business model, not likely to change anytime soon. They just bought Chicago's WLUP "The Loop". with 19 years as a rock station in Chicago. Young people get their music on line with smartphones these days. The God people are picking up stations at a fraction of their cost ten years ago.

K-Love is not Christian Rock. Very far from it. Try Christian MOR pablum. Not Rock! Way-FM is more Christian Rock.
