100 Agarikon Strains Announcement

We’re excited to announce that we’ve collected our 100th Agarikon strain!
For more than 20 years, the Fungi Perfecti R&D team, led by Paul Stamets and directed by Renee Davis, has been collecting samples of Agarikon found in the wild. Once collected, we take them back to the lab where we culture and preserve each valuable strain.
Here, Paul and Renee talk about this exciting accomplishment, and what it means to support the preservation of this important fungal species.
